I'm currently redoing a dr who cabinet, for decals I have 2 options.

    1st one is
    http://www.ministryofpinball.com/en/dr-who-cabinet-decals-next-gen.html
These Next Gen decals result from a professional printing technique using proprietary approach to make printed artwork look as if it were silkscreened and very resistant to wear, etc. Next Gen decals are made using UV resistant inks as well as high in color content, and have a raised ink. This is adhesive backed material with a backing liner for installation using either a wet or dry installation method.

2nd option is from a guy on in Brazil

High quality printed from vectorised files.
    Printed onto 3M brand vinyl,matte laminated,very nice!!!
They are not next gen, the cab decals is inkjet printed.I use the same decals when i restored my own machine.

The first option will cost me double the second option by the time it gets here. Any opinions will be appreciated or is there a 3rd option?

I would go with gloss lamination over matte.
Check out my gloss laminated decals on my WCS restore for reference. (scroll down)

If I were doing a higher end restoration of the machine, then go with the ministry decals to be safer in long run.

Since it is a dr who machine however, you may want to reconsider lower price alternative as long as other option looks comparable. Hard to say without seeing both sets in person.

There is a ton of work in doing cabinet work, and I would pay the extra for known better quality.

NexGen decals are the way to go.

What could go wrong in dealing with a "guy in Brazil"?

    Quoted from JoeGrenuk:

What could go wrong in dealing with a "guy in Brazil"?

    Yeah!
The decals might have water damage from the Amazon that burst its banks.
The decals might have bullet holes from being shipped out of a favela.
The decals might have been touched and damaged by the hands of Cristo Redentor.

But then again... MoP is based in The Netherlands.
Their decals might have smoke damage from being stored in a coffee shop.
A windmill arm could have hit them.
Or they could have been walked over by a careless person with his wooden shoes.

But seriously, what's wrong about dealing with a "guy in Brazil"? Are they all gangsters?

Back on topic. My opinion: If you're installing decals, do it right. The amount of work overshadows the costs for this kind of work. Go for Next Gen. Bertjan from MoP is a good guy to deal with.
