It has occurred to me that the music themed pinball machines made in the last ten years have covered every decade from the later part of the 20th century. From Elvis in the 50s all the way up to Metallica representing the 80s and early 90s. It is also apparent that music from the 21st century is at least a few decades away from being integrated into a pinball machine.

So that leaves the big band era of the 40s as prime pickings for the next music pinball theme. Benny Goodman and his orchestra are a no brainer as far as I'm concerned because they were probably the biggest band of their time. Thoughts?

A shenanigans of Gene Krupa mode would be a must.

    Quoted from Razorbak86:

Strictly from the manufacturer's point of view, if the objective of the theme is to sell enough units to make a reasonable profit

But just think how much profit it would make once out on route.

    Quoted from Miguel351:

Might just be a great EM retheme idea.....

Nah.. EMs are fine just the way they are.

But theme-wise in the modern DMD music pinball machine world, Lawrence Welk is definitely not out of the question

It is better to use your ears.

I know it sounds silly....but some great Music exists from the 30's and 40's.
    Sure, its not Metallica

And that is a good thing.
