Stories are human, Vid has been compiling "stories" on pinside for years now. He is the Brann the broken that came as Vid for just so long to leave ALL of the pinball knowledge.

Was this some kind of misunderstanding? 90% of Pornhub is a person ultimately getting shot in the face, but not with a gun.
Vid once emailed the TNT channel because his nephew was upset they only played “A Christmas Story” once a day on Christmas.
They didn’t even email him back. They just started playing it 24 hours straight from Christmas Eve through the end of Christmas day.

See Post #52. It was 2 years ago and I remember when it happened, but who knows whatever came of it. Point being that Vid dealt with a lot, positive and negative, so he probably just disappeared for a while. Understandable.
To me, doesn’t underscore at all what an asset he is to the community. Hopefully he comes back.

You have to turn on your basement access. It defaults to off, meaning all basement posts are hidden to you. Toggle it to on to access the pinside basement.

After reading through a bit of that, I can only say that Vid is an even cooler guy than I thought. Bet he's fun at parties.
His guide to rebuilding flippers has aided me immensely in recent years; the first time I ever attempted a rebuild back in the early 2000's wasn't a complete disaster, but close. If that guide was around then, as well as the pop-bumper guide, the playfield restoration guide, etc., etc.
I hope he makes a return, and hopefully, his lack of time here has been because he has been away in a distant, secluded area, sans internet...
