    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

You certainly don't sound like an old man, constantly complaining about the same thing, over and over, shouting angrily at clouds.

A shame that I have but one thumbs up.

The broken record is getting tiresome.

Dude, you like games with 2" flippers.

You are not Stern's target demographic.

    Quoted from Whysnow:

He is a pinhead with money... He is exactly sterns demographic.

If he was Stern's demographic, he'd have a house full of new Sterns all blinged out, not one filled with games from the 50's and 60's.

Him bitching about Stern's license choices is like my dad complaining about Top 40 radio these days - it's not targeted at him so it's bad. Stern just sold out of those Batman '66 LEs without even showing the game, they know what they're doing.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

    But seriously bro...why cars?

There's a lot of parallels - there's drivers (players), collectors, restorers and manufacturers in both. There's vintage versus new. There's auctions, and shows, and competitions. Currently there's no "Concours D'Elegance" for pinball but who knows ten years from now.

    There's more overlap than not.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I remember some blowhard in RGP telling us all 15 years ago "in 20 years, those woodrails are all gonna be worthless!!!"

Woodrails are mostly worthless compared to even later EMs. When I see them, they're usually under $500.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

And he's still wrong. And probably still fat.

    Probably.

The only thing that will kill old game value is remakes.

    Quoted from Rarehero:

Nothing else is really priced that high.

I dunno, things like $5k 8BDs and $7k Fathoms seem ripe for some price disruptions.
