There's a lot of people 10 years older, and 10 years younger than me. So I don;t know how much will really change.

    Quoted from dmbjunky:

I'm curious what will happen to Stern once Gary dies. Will his children continue the biz?

Imagine Gomez will be running it for awhile doing pretty much the same thing

    Quoted from Air_Pinball:

It's funny how some people always complain about kids not being into pinball.
Well guess what? It's our job to expose it to them.

I'm constantly exposing everything I have to kids anytime I can get them in my basement.

    Quoted from Air_Pinball:

    So....Point Break the pin?

I heard the SDLE is the 90s classic but the Promium®™ is the remake.

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I absolutely hate pinball arcade and think it's incredibly lame but I can't argue. It's bringing people to the real thing.

It's good for n00bs and suckies becasue it does just what a video game's point it; make something that's difficult easy to play.

    Quoted from nwpinball:

What I see here in the Seattle area ...

And that's the thing, you're in a huge city. Seattle has always been way ahead of the curve as in the pinball scene it seemed to me, and that's awesome news, but can it spread to the middle?

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Unlike, say classic cars, which are more of a suburban/country pursuit.

Cargu-FACTS aside, I was wondering that as I typed it as well. If a resurgance is going on it may just look diff'rent than the old days, but perhpas there's no difference?

    Quoted from laprocket:

As long as there are game rooms, man caves, etc. Pinball will be fine.

    And o-dins She Shed!
