My 11 year old son and 14 year old daughter are really getting into playing pinball. Want to take them someplace over Spring break to play pinball. They have been to Blainbrook and SS Billards in MN, Underground Retrocade and Galloping Ghost in IL. Would LOVE to take them to Logan's Arcade but that's 21 and over. CP Pinball isn't open that weekend. Thought maybe Arcadia in McLean. Is there any place to take a family, within 4-5 hours of Milwaukee, that would have a decent selection of Pinball? We've been playing on location around here, but have been really disappointed with the machines and lack of maintenance.

Bummer CP is not open that weekend. They have the best selection. Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, MI is nice (probably OK for an 11 & 14 year old).

Thanks.... I'm going to try to go there when I go to Pinball at the Zoo. This time the family is not coming for that. So I will see about it for the future.

They are a bar and have concerts and stuff there, but if you go in the day it's pretty mellow. I've taken my wife and one-year-old there before. Great selection of A-listers. Probably a couple dozen titles. Lots of B/W and Stern. Not a bad suggestion!

Too bad you can't bring 'em to the Zoo. That's a great family-friendly show. Very relaxed atmosphere there. I'm a little biased, as the event artist, but it's my show of choice around these parts.

Finally, for selection of games, it's tough to beat Clay's VFW show:

Cool to hear your kids are really getting into pinball!

Have you been to Main Street Amusements in Lafayette, Indiana? That place is great with a load of pins, although they are only open in the evening. On the way there you could stop to eat at Tyler's Tender restaurant in Schererville. They always have 5 or 6 pins in their arcade.
