In my Twilight Zone, my top left flipper opto isn't registering in switch test, and when I swap the board around the top right flipper opto doesn't work. The resisters test fine and all the traces and solder looks fine. So it looks like it's a problem with the opto. Does anyone know whether this opto can be bought anywhere? I know replacement boards are available, but it seems kind of a waste given it's just one component. I have searched all the usual places but cannot find it. Maybe there is a replacement part with a different number that works?

Possible you could have 4 or 5 pin optos on that board:

Could be that somebody swapped out his board with a later version? Or am I
misinterpreting his message?

If using a 4 pin opto -- get the .0086 suffix part as these are directly
driving the switch matrix.
The reason they used a 5 pin opto in later boards was to get around using
the custom opto as used originally in TZ.
