I'd really like to see/play a jersey Jack game. Where are these things hiding in the wild? Anywhere?
Ruby Red WOZ at Pinbar in Calgary!!!

I just may have to take you up on this sometime. Thanks for the offer
Quoted from Spencer:Ive never seen one in the wild. In fact this province sucks for games on location period.
Do you guys (calgarians) have any "barcades"? We just got our first one that I am aware of. Denizen Hall, 5 pins, 15 arcades, in nice shape too.
Not that I know of. The only place I know that has more than 1 game is the Arena at Flames community arena and of coarse the airport.
Quoted from Stretch7:Your welcome to come and play mine
Yup, you can play mine if you want too if your ever in Calgary.
Yes,we have the Olympic lounge,Flames arena on crowchild Trail.
Upstairs,in the hallway and lounge.i think they have 8-10 pinball machines.
Chexx hockey,pool table,and fosseball.
+1 for the Flames arena. Great lineup kept in top notch shape. Tourneys there are super fun. They have 2 machines at the Garage in Eau Claire now too. Though no full on barcade here yet. Need to convince the Denizen crew to open up a Calgary location. Was up there a few weeks ago and they are definitely doing it right. Great pin lineup, classic vids, pool, lots of room, tasty food and beer, live music, fun crowd. Nothing not to like.
Where do they post the details on the Tournaments. Every-time I end up there the bar is close, but thankfully they keep a few outside.
Kijiji. Open after 4pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends. Sad thing is that it closes for the summer.
Quoted from pingod:Usually they put an ad on kijiji,16 spots go fast.
Lots of people watching to
Ya I would travel to Calgary to go your tourneys but they do not award IFPA points at them... Hopefully you guys an get yourself organized down there, as there are going to be 15 sanctioned events here in Edmonton this year...
Yeah, I've seen the kijiji ad for Die Hard Pinball. Glad you guys are doing that. At our tourneys I've tried to gauge interest in starting a league down here without much luck. Now that you are taking the lead maybe a bit of 'battle of alberta' competitive spirit will push us in the right direction. Are you the one organizing Die Hard? If so I might shoot you a PM for some info on how to get started.
Yep I am the head organizer and founder of the Die Hard Pinball League be willing to discuss on how we started everything. It has been a 2 year journey but we have been pretty successful in bringing the pinball community together in that time.
I would also have no issue in helping to organize a IFPA tournament in Calgary if you needed some help.
Nope you are stuck with going to Stretch's house thou Lucky's Lounge has some pretty good titles there right now... Operators are learly of putting in a WOZ as Jersey Jack only has one machine and then they have to maintain parts and stuff for that odd ball, mainly Stern machines that are being bought to route.
