Here's a great way to find out. http://pinballmap.com/colorado
But, I highly recommend The 1-UP in Downtown Denver. Lots of games; all in perfect order. Food is bar food, but nice beer selection. 30 min from Boulder.

Not made it to Lyons as my starting point was always the DTC; too far for me.
Why the bag on 1up? They have a large assortment of games and they are extremely well cared for. Play perfect. Not sure of the current lineup but I've played: FG, DW, SC, Tron, Stern IJ, CFTBL, MM, Sopranos, Avengers (Hulk), Simpsons (can't remember which), RFM, SWEP1, FT, TAF, AC/DC, Transformers and more.

Are you sure you are not thinking of another place? in Aurora perhaps??
"Rough up"?? Really. I've been there at least a dozen times. Never had anything but cool bartenders. The people in the bar can be a little scary looking...but most are there to play games and I've never seen a fight.
