I moved to the Austin Texas from Denver Colorado about 9 months ago. I have found the the pinball scene is totally different. In Colorado you have quite a few places to play newer machines as well as classics. Craigslist and Pinside have quite a few listings for games for sale.
In Austin the listings are few and places to play are also not abundant. Does anyone know places to play besides the Pinbalz locations?
Bat City FB group is fairly active. League is Sundays 1:30pm at Buffalo Billiards, Tuesdays 8pm at Pinballz Original (bring quarters, tokens are three/1$). Pinball Map is fairly accurate. Make some friends at league and you'll probably get invited to private collections. [email protected] (me) can get you on the mailing list of weekly league updates.
