It looks like bayareaamusements.com carries some striped wiring, but they only seem to have one out of the handful I'm looking for.

Here's what I'm trying to find:

    16AWG - black w/ white stripe (3')
    22AWG - brown w/ black stripe (10')
    22AWG - white w/ purple stripe (10')
    22AWG - green w/ black stripe (10')

    I'm also looking for red cloth-covered 18AWG wire (5').

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Scroll through a page or two to get to 22 gauge.

How much of each are you looking for? Is this for a repair on Sinbad?

The only one they have that is on my list is 22 AWG brown w/black stripe. They don't have any of the others. I selected the "view all" option and searched.

I updated the OP with lengths. Yep, for Sinbad

A previous owner cut off the insulation on a handful of cables in various places. Not sure why

The only one I have a chance at having is the 3' piece, other than that what I have from a close encounters harness I just took apart (someone had cut off several sections so it was not savable) is 4' or less.

I bet that was a quick lazy hack way of testing voltages with the DMM

They do have the other 22AWGs you're looking for:

    22AWG - green w/ black stripe (10'):

If you can't get 22g in the correct color, you can always move up to a larger wire size like 18g, you just can't go smaller (ie 24g).

I happened to stumble across an automotive site that is selling striped wire in smaller quantities: http://www.narragansettreproductions.com/general-supplies-primary-copper-wire.html

I emailed them and they confirmed they had the colors I was looking for. 16 AWG and 18 AWG in 25ft spools, and 22 AWG in 250ft spools. However, I haven't gotten pricing back from them yet.

Good grief, I can't believe I missed those. I very much appreciate your eagle eyes

So, it looks like they have all the striped wires I was looking for.

I'm still hunting around for the red cloth-covered wire. I found a few general antique restoration sites selling it, but the spools were more than I needed and a bit expensive. Some antique restoration sites only had 2 or 3 connector wire, instead of just 1.

    Thanks, good to know
