I need to pick up a batch of EPROMs used in WPC games.

There are so many sellers on ebay, and I have no idea which ones are legit/safe to order from. Can anyone point out the sellers you've had success with?

Get used, pulled ones from USA sellers. The Chinese ones are hit and miss, with more re-labeled misses.

Past that, they should all be the same, so go for the quantity you need at the price you like best. While you *MAY* get a dud, the chances are phenomenaly less than getting "new" ones from China.

If you don't need eraseable, you can get new OTP chips from Digikey slash Houser..

I have got 10 27c080 eproms for $22 with shipping from user polida. Those came professionally packed in a tube. They state that those are new but in reality they are pulls so I needed to erase them. 9 out 10 were good but considering the price I was really satisfied and would buy again from them.
