Recently put a DMD with green filter on my lords of the ring, and want a few more, open to used red or color DMD, where can the best deals be found and what colors look best?

If your going for a single color replacement just pick up the xpin white DMD and add whatever filter you want.
ouch! for that price, you might as well spend the $400 on a color dmd and have the option to change the single color displayed on the fly and wait for stern machines to start being supported

The issue with running single colors on the ColorDMD is the brightness. The greens, blues, and purples are dark and if you try to turn up the brightness then background is no longer black.

ColorDMD looks plenty bright to me in green, purple and blue:

The only color I was not crazy about was red with the ColorDMD I have seen in person.
