I’ve rebuilt 8 flipper mechs. It took me a few hours online but I sourced everything i needed. Not everything was original but definitely interchangeable. I’ll go through my old orders and report back where I got what parts. Plungers, springs and sleeves are just a case of finding the right size.

It looks like they have the same item listed twice. I've always just searched "Capcom" and trawled through whats there. I found some pics I took of all the bits needed to rebuild the flippers I will post below. I've dug out my receipts too - and if I find some part numbers and vendors I'll post here.

Here's my last rebuild. The little bolts with the thread only part way along were hard to find. I recall buying some longer ones and cutting them down. The part without the thread rubs on the bushing and lasts longer. When there's a thread there instead the contact surface against the bushing is softer and it gets blown out and loose faster. Still - it will be okay for home use.

I wouldn’t worry about the sleeves. I spent hours trying to find the exact ones but these ones are 100% fine. I’ve purchased five flippers second hand and rebuilt two others and they all had the non-collared sleeves in them. You just use the ones I have pictured but put them in with the collar at the coil stop end and the sleeve at the plunger entry end which fits nicely through the coil retaining bracket. The plunger link “just” hits it ever so slightly when it’s all the way in. The coil stop is not original but a new stronger version. It’s made for Capcom as far as I can tell - all the vendors list it as the Capcom coil stop. I’ll try and get some more pics up.

I can’t remember exactly but I also recall one of the vendors having extra detail inside their product descriptions such as “also works with Capcom” etc. so someone’s blazed this trail before us.

Here’s some more pics that might help. The plungers I’ve used I recall are called Williams new style - I think they’re the rounded grey ones. For comparison I’ve shown a Capcom original flipper mech - prototype I’m guessing. The flipper plunger and link are the same length as the Williams grey ones. The sleeve in the original mech was the same as the new ones you get now and which I’ve shown here. One of the coil stops I have has the part number stamped in it so you can see it’s definitely for Capcom. The Williams coil stops will sit too low and the stop itself might not be long enough so I’d use the four-holed Capcom ones.
