I sometimes use 1/8" copper foil tape for certain board repairs, but I generally have to cut it in half for some things (which can be challenging to do since it tends to bunch up or slide away).

At one time, 1/16" copper foil tape was available from certain suppliers, but I can't seem to find anyone who currently carries it.

Does anyone still carry it, or has it been completely discontinued?

You can still buy the traces

but I have not seen rolls of tape for years.

    Quoted from ShaunoftheDead:

    ebay.com link » 1pc Copper Foil Conductive 1 8 X 55 Yds 5mm X 30m Emi Shielding Tape Adhesive

That is 1/8", not 1/16". 1/8" is readily available.

    That stuff is not cheap

    3mm is about 1/8", not 1/16".

Unfortunately, that's what I'm currently doing, but that approach doesn't work very well, as I indicated above.

Cut it with these $7 Walmart.

I have not been able to find the 1/16" tape for several years now. I'm afraid you're left with using circuit tracks or cutting the wider tape.

Hopefully someone will prove me wrong.

Datek sells a sheet of 3M copper foil with a clamp for cutting thin strips. It is much easier to cut the foil sheet down to 1/16" than wrestling with the copper tape. Your blade needs to be sharp though.
