The wife and I are staying three days in NO and we love the experience and the food but we are looking for things that are off the beaten path. Any ideas.

Ok we did the garden district tour with a guy named Loki and had a lot of fun. He recommended a restaurant called Gris Gris. The gumbo and shrimp and grits is awesome.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Looks like the band didn’t show up.
That was before the show. They do not allow photography. They won’t start till phones are put up. It was awesome. Short but great music

Saw another jazz band, a 15 piece band, at Snug Harbor and they were very good. If I didn’t mention it the spotted cat is fun.
We saw the parade and it
Was short but very interesting. After that it was back to the spotted cat to listen to jazz till the wife was falling asleep. Two young ladies adopted us for their travel companions for the night and hung out with us till about 12. Lots of fun watching and interacting with the different people there. We get to the hotel and there is no ac or potty, they don’t work so they gave us a different, better room and comped the stay. Can’t argue with that.
Home to see our four legged children now
