    Quoted from Dent00:

If you are near the Riverfront, Central Street Grocery makes muffalettas, half or whole.
A whole one will pretty much feed 2 people.
If you have never had one, I suggest you try that out.
If you haven't had a beignet (French Donut) with some coffee, try café du monde or morning call.

    Lot's of great ideas.

Central Grocery is the best if you like Muffalettas. They don't make other sandwiches so you have to like olive salad. Nobody makes it better! Plan on this for lunch one day. Another place to try for lunch is Mandinas on Canal.

K-Paul's is great for dinner and so is Emeril's on Tchoupitoulas.

    Quoted from zr11990:

Saw another jazz band, a 15 piece band, at Snug Harbor and they were very good. If I didn’t mention it the spotted cat is fun.

Good thread. Keep us updated on your travels.
