Hi Wayner, I've heard 240 referred to as the silent killer quite a few times over there.
Not sure if you saw it, but I posted this in the Has anyone been killed by a pinball machine thread (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/has-anyone-been-killed-by-a-pinball-machine#post-2128024) about 5 weeks ago, but I'll post it again here.

"I once dropped a long handled screwdriver while I was working in the back box of a pin in an arcade in Freo. It fell down the hole in the head and right onto the transformer below. (the pin was on) I grabbed it without thinking and got one hell of a shock. (240v) Thought I was having a heart attack as my chest hurt like hell. After sitting down for a while I had to stop fixing pins that day and go home to bed."
ps. dig the 2 bob coins on the bottom of your cab.

Thanks Wayner, yeah thought my demise was gonna be by a pin, lol. Just to let you know, I used to keep my machines coin mechs intact too, so I always kept a jar of florins next to my pins for people to use. Bet you haven't seen a florin for yonks. I love 'em.
