So, I figured I'd hop on over to Boston Pinball and pick up a set of System 1 Display boards, but they're all sold out of everything.

Anybody have any idea if they'll get them back in stock or who else carries them?

Are they different than system 80?

I have good used displays that have been tested in a BLACK hole.

I see a lot of old NOS fully-assembled ones pop up on eBay more than you'd expect, not sure what it is about them. I try searching for NOS Williams ones a decent amount and always end up seeing those (instead ).

Thanks for the info, guys. I have working displays, but they're not very crisp and bright. Thought somebody would sell new displays for those machines.

Hey, rustylizard ! I'll keep you in mind if I feel the need to swap them out. Thanks so much!

The Gottlieb ones aren't plasma, so they don't outgas. Much less likely to ever fail. Plus they used them for a lot longer than Williams used their seven digit displays.

You can sort of "recharge" them, see link below..

XPin was working on replacement gottlieb displays that would be plug n play... but ever since they went to 21 electronics they seem to have sorta just.. faded away and don't have much in stock anymore...
