Bally, 1994My ebay has failed. My google has failed. I've even tried specifying countries. They're out of stock intergalactically, it seems. Does anyone know where to get a new 10 opto board? Ideally one of the snazzy upgraded low-power-consumption ones?

Yeah, it looks like you're screwed unless you can find a spare one from a fellow collector.

Why can't you repair the one you have. Usually you can just replace the LM339 chips for the non working Opto and it'll be good to go.

I don't really know what's wrong with it. It does work. But it heats up so much that it fills the room with a burning smell. And whatever is happening is not covered in Pinwiki, nor does anyone else seem to experience it. I'd rather get a low-energy consumption replacement and hopefully resolve the problem and have the pinball working than tinker for another 6 months with a non-working pinball.

I got confused, I thought you were talking about your DW which has 5 opto pairs.... and I could not figure how you could make that any more power efficient.
