I don't believe that an Update announcement would be placed on the Metallica website. So something else is meant with "the big news"!
Another kick in the balls for those like me waiting for new code
You never know, the band seemed to be working pretty hands-on with Stern in the past and punched the release of the pin big time. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they released word on their website. Kirk's monster-con thingy it going on this weekend in SF, and I believe Stern will have a booth there, dunno, but that seems like a pretty good time to release new code to coincide with show. I'll most likely be wrong, but it makes sense to me *shrug*
