Quoted from Delta9:

I think the game is fun and the layout is good my advice to u is sell it you can still be a kiss fan and hate the game im not really a kiss fan but like the pin go figure sell it buy another repeat

I agree. I'm no kiss fan but the game is fun to bang around on and beautiful to look at. Really hope code makes it something more meaningful than that though.

#240 3 years ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

Fact: If you do your homework about a new game and play the hell out of it before you decide to buy it, and base your decision on how the game currently stands, you will never be disappointed.

Fact: if you marry an ugly women you'll never be disappointed when she gets old fat and ugly.

But it sure would be nice to marry a hot chick that likes to workout and won't let herself go.

And it sure would be nice if stern would bake their code prior to releasing pins...or at least have it baked within 1/2 a year of release.

#248 3 years ago
Quoted from GodOfThunder:

Would it be better to hold off releasing or buying a Stern machine until all software is complete?

Yep.

Or at least 80% of the way there.

Absolutely.

As far as waiting to buy, yes as well. But the issue is scarcity. If you are an LE (or even a premium) you do risk losing out on a pin that 'someday' becomes great if you wait 1+ years to buy it NIB.

Could you tell me what is missing in the actual code? What is missing and what should be fixed?

Are you being genuine or not? Can't tell.

Quoted from vid1900:

And we KNOW it will take 2-3 years for final code to be released. There are 10000s of posts reminding us that the game WON'T be finished for 2-3 years.

Doesn't mean it should be that way or couldn't change.

#378 3 years ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

They read all the comments and take EVERYTHING into consideration. I appreciate that.

Yet some people say no matter what is said here and 'in the wild' wont change Sterns actions...

I agree with you and I dont mind the code being incomplete. BUT I would love to see them have a bit more rigor and transparency around the process and schedule.

#384 3 years ago
Quoted from vid1900:

We'd all love to have it faster, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
If we want code 5x deeper than the old B/W games, it is currently the price we pay.
I'd rather have my game 2 years earlier, playing and enjoying it with incomplete code, than to wait 2 years for delivery with final code; but that's just me.

And BW pins had 5x the depth of EM pins yet shipped with, generally, almost fully complete code.

But I agree, I'm not holding my breath for trump to change. And frankly? If stern were just a bit more transparent around code timing I think almost everyone would be good with their current process.

#404 3 years ago
Quoted from vid1900:

It's not my job to quiet anybody, I said ' let them bitch if they need to'.
It's my job to pass along that the code is indeed being tested right now - a message of happy news.....

Any idea, at all, around timing?

#446 3 years ago
Quoted from Jaybird815:

It has never been that way for reasons.

BW shipped pretty much complete. What are sterns reasons for changing that?

#454 3 years ago
Quoted from Jaybird815:

I'm not sure I agree, they all still had issues. And where is Williams pinball division now?

Yep. Their initial release code had polish issues.

Are you suggesting bw went under because they shipped pins with mostly complete code?

#459 3 years ago
Quoted from Jaybird815:

No not at all, What I am saying is it is a totally different era and I think Stern needs to keep the line moving with new exciting titles to stay in business, and you cannot say that recently Stern has been much better about updating code

I've heard this before. Serious question:

Did BW have their lines not always moving?

#480 3 years ago
Quoted from hank527:

Expecting kiss code this week? Is that insane?

We'll know in about 80 hours....

#487 3 years ago
Quoted from Wakky:

Why do you say 80 hours?? another pot guess ? fair dinkum mate ! I might as well blow the froth off a couple at the local pub waiting forever flat out like a lizard drinkin!

I figure they would only post a code update when they were awake. Sleep posting is hard. And dangerous. Assuming they sleep 8 hours a night, that left 80 waking hours to do it. Of course...this is being very generous with time. If we use working hours we are now down to 32 remaining for hanks 'new and improved' contact to prove himself!

Good friday is not a national holiday. Its only a public holiday in ~13 states. IL isnt one of them...

Quoted from jeffsarcade:

I'm kinda hoping we get more animated dots and less "concert footage" dots.

Do they generally add new animations post release or just make use of existing but unused dots? Someone said when they went and looked at all of the animations and call outs in pinball browser there werent many more of either available for future use...

#545 3 years ago
Quoted from jeffsarcade:

Pretty sure they can add whatever they want to it. If there aren't many more dots or callouts available, then that seems pretty weak.

Oh I know they 'can'. I'm wondering if they generally 'do'.

Quoted from Fast-Ed:

Where is the kiss code.......... The same place GB will be in a few months and the same people will bitch about it. (I'll never buy nib again....blah blah) yea whatever. It's always the same people. They never learn.

You'll have to add a year to your above statement. And also assume that GB ships with virtually beta level code.

THEN it will be in the 'same place' as kiss is currently in.

#585 3 years ago
Quoted from snyper2099:

Don't be sorry.
Ok, think Stern IJ... Then look at the KISS play field. Ugh. Makes me sick just thinking about it.
The Gene head thing is a total fail. Look at how well the SAME assembly is integrated in Tron or even POTC for that matter.
I could go on but it's much like religion with pinball. The more points made seem to alienate people rather than join them together.
I shared my thought and respect those that like TWD and KISS.

I think the kiss head is fun. Spinner under it should be more aggressive but 'total fail'? nah. Certainly not enough to make someone sick. The pin is fun, pure and simple. Great code would/could make it a VERY fun pin.

But i'm just an average pin player than has fun playing and to me, sounds, lights, theme are all part of the fun.

#594 3 years ago

Stern is pimpin Kiss accessories HARD on FB...Of course, if I say anything about when the most important 'accessory' will be released I'll be banished from their page...Ugh.

#598 3 years ago
Quoted from mainelycoasters:

First off guys I own a Kiss pro and love the game as is. It could use a few tweaks in the software but is far from bad code. See some of the Sega and Data east older games if you want some poor code. Even Williams has some poor games out there due to software only. I enjoy my Kiss a ton. it is far from the only pin I own too.

Good that you enjoy it. But the code is weak right now. Weak as hell. Like...beta weak. It doesn't even have outlane sounds or use the city features at all.

#616 3 years ago

Stern FB page has a sunrise and some kiss icons (shooter knobs actually)....Is this it?????!! Is it here????!!

#634 3 years ago
Quoted from DylanFan71:

I'd pay money to remove Paul offering to come down and give us all a closer look.

#672 3 years ago
Quoted from vid1900:

Make sure whoever you sell it to fully understands that Stern's final code takes 2-3 years.
Do you still have the box?

Doesn't mean it should.

#674 3 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

If people stopped buying them maybe it would make a diff'rence...but guess what? Another moment of their childhood got made into a game and everyone is lining up for another ride.

Doesn't mean stern couldn't start releasing pins with further baked code. Or at least communicate more meaningfully with their clients.

But why would they right? If suckers keep lining up?

I dunno. Some companies strive towards continual improvement in all aspects of their business. Even if they know that they could probably grab a few more points on their margin by not doing so.

In virtually all industries that leads to opened doors for competitors.

We'll see what happens in the long term I suppose.

#693 3 years ago
Quoted from vid1900:

Newbe Guide to Pinball :
DON'T BUY ANY NEW STERN GAME UNLESS YOU ARE MENTALLY PREPARED FOR A 2-3 YEAR WAIT FOR FINAL CODE.

Dude. We get it. You're a stern apologist.

Honestly, let people wish and bitch for a more professionally run stern in the safety of an interwebs forum thread.

#695 3 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

Doesn't matter if it was just a song, that's code also, they should have known everyone whoms been dying for code would think it was an update.
Dick move.

As I've said many times. Their marketing is, at best, tone deaf.

#700 3 years ago
Quoted from clg:

As as been said MANY MANY times before you have to wait a while for Stern's code.

Doesn't mean it should be this way or has to be this way. Even a touch more MEANINGFUL communication would go a long way.

Asking (and hoping) a company to change (slightly) without having to boycott is not ridiculous.

#701 3 years ago
Quoted from Trekkie1978:

Who was the marketing genius behind the idea of teasing the KISS code only to not release the KISS code???
Someone actually gets paid to think of an idea like this?

We are being trolled.

Incredibly glad I cancelled my GB order.

#796 3 years ago

Is there anyone out there willing to replace songs with original kiss songs once the code is released? I'd pay for that for sure and pinbrowser is beyond my skill set...

#803 3 years ago
Quoted from CrazyLevi:

So 16 pages of whining and as usual, new code is coming - like always. Shocker.
These threads should just go in the basement.

Actually, more like 16 pages filled with:

50% fanboys saying "leave stern alone you meanies! after all these are basically just fun vending machines used to take peoples coins!"
10% people saying "KISS code is already perfect!"
20% saying "KISS sucks anyway [then a whole bunch of stuff about flow and Genes head]"
10% saying "Ya know, it would be nice if stern would communicate more openly with its clients and also not troll them"

and then of course the...

10% People whining about people whining

#837 3 years ago
Quoted from Trekkie1978:

Still no code...Stern is screwing up so badly that it's comical. Worst part is, their marketing department doesn't even realize it.

Honestly I'm just happy they are communicating with us about it (kinda). At this point I'm ok if it takes another week to drop.

#912 3 years ago
Quoted from Duff:

Every time I think about putting money down on GB, I read this thread and my money is safe.

Seeing them actually communicate with us about what's happening instead of going dark or constantly saying 'stay tuned!' is a welcome change IMO and once it drops I'll be back in on a GB prem.

#916 3 years ago
Quoted from Duff:

Mm.. Haven't they been saying it's coming since Thanksgiving? My read on this is damage control on the teasing. There "Communication" is no more specific than every major holiday has been. Dropping code for one game doesn't mean GB won't have the same thing happen. History is not in their favor on giving the benefit of the doubt

well sure. Its been coming since KISS was originally released.

But they've never been given rough timelines let alone insight into where they are in the process of the coding/testing process.

#958 3 years ago
Quoted from Trekkie1978:

IMO, it's time for Stern to put up or shut up. As of right now, 4 teases and no code.

Dude. We get it.

#1079 3 years ago
Quoted from Trekkie1978:

I swear, I think there is an internal bet at Stern to see how mad they can make their customers.
This game needed a code update back in December/January to add a few things and fix a couple bugs. We are now in April and Stern decided that it would be a good idea to tease the code release for 2 weeks.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'd much rather Stern not said anything. All this teasing over the last 2 weeks has just caused my blood to boil.

I'd WAY prefer this over absolute silence for 9 months. I say kudos to them.

It's coming, it's coming soon (less than a month).

It's pinball code man.

Me - "I'm not a hippie"

#1565 3 years ago
Quoted from ZippyThePinhead:

I've found numerous bugs in the new code...would of hated to see how many bugs there were before the "Orkin man" arrived...I'm seriously considering installing the 1.04 back on it...

Ugh. Really? Haven't had a chance to play yet. What a bummer. Jeez.

#1615 3 years ago

Anyone with a PRE/LE having issues with the love gun magnet not 'dropping off' the ball? Mine takes the ball, brings it to the drop spot and then brings it back to the right top of ramp without actually dropping it off...

Does it every time...Makes the game unplayable...

Ideas?

#1631 3 years ago

#1659 3 years ago

when the game offers to 'change the song' does that mean you've 'completed' the song you're on?

#1664 3 years ago

Just a follow up on this...It seems this is only true during the game while a ball is in play. I've gotten the 'offer' to change the song after draining a ball (before I plunge new one) when I know for sure I havent 100% completed the song...

#1670 3 years ago
Quoted from shlockdoc:

What is the status of the next update? Is was supposed to be 2 parts.

I dont know but I doubt it will help my ball time lol. FAK! I have KISS and MET side by side. I can play 'forever' on MET but KISS kills me. I'm not sure if I even like playing it or if I'm just mad at it and want to show it that I'm not awful.

Quoted from vireland:

I agree, but the useless cities that do nothing are a major red flag screaming "hey, I'm missing!"
If they had just left them out until they were ready to do something, it wouldn't even be noticed. But the city/song selection is literally the first thing you see...

uh oh....Better sell your machine....Or shut up!!

#1681 3 years ago
Quoted from vireland:

Hahaha...it's not even my machine, but I can tell when something's missing. My point was, why even HAVE it in the software if it does nothing? All it does is invite complaints. Just leave out the cities until they DO something, problem solved. But it's too late for this title.

Was totally kidding. I agree 100%. I was making fun of people saying 'if you don't like it now, may as well sell!'. Code is moving (glacially) in the right direction. If they keep it up it could be a really fun game. We're coming up to its 1 year anniversary....hope big/close to final update comes by/near then.

Really disappointing they didn't release at the expo. Been 6 months since the last release. Ugh. I'm almost more frustrated that I cant buy a GB or BM until they update at this point. Trying to convince myself that Dialed in will be good at this point.

#1996 2 years ago
Quoted from Pinballomatic:

To be fair, I really like my kiss. I like new code too, but it's not as though the game isn't fun this way. The point everyone is making is valid, though. They need to finish their games.

Oh its fun for sure. I love the way it shoots. But with so many of these pins now going into homes, code needs to be more than that IMO to invest this type of money into them IMO.

#1998 2 years ago
Quoted from volkdrive:

I found after watching the play video of how to achieve monster scores, it's not as bad as it is made out to be. Not saying that the code doesn't need more, just that what is there can be enjoyed. The cities have to be coded, and maybe a couple more song slots added in though.

My scores of ~250M went way down after the videos lol. I'm a bad player and gunning for multi balls gets me the best scores

Frustrating...In an alternate universe they'd be clever and roll it out for halloween...Guys in masks and all...

But alas, sounds like code isnt even being worked on.

Brutal.

At least its pretty.

#2021 2 years ago
Quoted from fish1975tx:

It is really a shame how they have handled this game. I have only played it a few times at shows and in a league. Code doesn't seem like it does a whole lot and the straight down the middle drains are a disappointment for sure, the short ball saver doesn't always catch them.

I almost never have a SDTM unless its from a poor attempt to hit the center ramp...I know some have had issues with SDTM from the head which I can imagine is really frustrating.

The code right now is really just 'hit this arrow cuz points and stuff'...Fun but gets old incredibly fast.

#2024 2 years ago

#2078 2 years ago

I may get slayed for this but I think it needs a complete re write. There is nothing to the rules now except 'shoot here because points and stuff'. There are so many fun things they could do with cities (think roadshow), backstage adventures (imagine?), instruments (oh no, the guitar broke, you have 20 seconds to collect a new one!), Band member kidnapped (complete kiss army to go hunt them down). Maybe those are all stupid but thats with 15 seconds worth of thinking about it. There needs to be much more than 'big points if you shoot this arrow and then that arrow!'

In other words, it doesn't need new ways to get more points. It needs an injection of fun and creativity. Add some Roadshow, FishTales, hell, even Metallica creativity and humor...Its a campy band that wears makeup for gods sake. Lets have some fun.

#2080 2 years ago
Quoted from thundergod76:

Great ideas! Unfortunately it's never gonna happen. Stern simply doesn't care enough about code in general to put that much creative thought into it. They're always looking to the next pin for their payday. Back in the 90's when pinball started slumping the makers/programmers really upped their game. RS, FH and MM come to mind. Why should they care now? They're selling these faster than they can make them.

Sadly I know you're right...

I am quickly losing interest in sterns. There themes are great but I play for fun not for points...

#2090 2 years ago
Quoted from Barakawins1:

I don't know about you guys but this turns me off completely. Stern takes a ton of money from the sales of these machines and they give two shits about you after they got your money. I'm sticking with the #1 pins in the industry Williams/Bally.

+1. I'm done with sterns unless the code situation turns around. I'm ready to branch out to JJP or someone else...I'm hoping that the new JJP theme can be overcome by amazing gameplay. If so, I'll be throwing my $$$ there.

#2094 2 years ago
Quoted from Wakky:

you sound like a sook who cant get what he wants when he wants . No matter what code comes out people will always complain and ask for another update..
was better when we bought games as is like Williams etc there were no more expectations! People are spoilt these days and Stern has left themselves open now and will never please 100% of the crowd who buys these machines..
Just be grateful that they are still making great games and pinball still thrives in the 21st century ... end of rant

Cool story!

Wrong though. I have a MET right next to my KISS...Am I in a thread about metallica code being incomplete? Nope. How about my other 12 pins? Nope.

They have no business reason to update the game again. How it is today is how it will be forever. On 4/21 it will have been a year since the last update.

You're kidding right? Abandoning a game with beta code burns home buyers badly. And home use buyers are a huge portion of their business today. I pulled my deposit on a GB LE and wont buy a BM66 because of this. I'm not alone on this. Sure they sell out. But how many MORE could they sell if they produced quality/finished code within 12 months of release? Imagine if they actually committed to that and delivered?

#2521 2 years ago
Quoted from fattdirk:

They don't care about your money. There are plenty more people to step up to buy the LE that you turned down in protest. They just keep selling out. (Except Kiss cause it was a flop)

Saying they 'sold out' of a small number of pins isn't impressive.

The fact remains that more pins would be sold if they had a better code release process. Whether they care about selling more pins is certainly up for debate.

#2532 2 years ago

You are literally disagreeing that a pin with completely baked solid code wouldn't sell more units than a pin with half baked code?

MK.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one I guess.

#2533 2 years ago
Quoted from konjurer:

I agree that the average Joe doesn't scratch the surface of any rule set. I studied KISS rules for weeks before I was able to absorb everything that was going on and it wasn't until I watched the PAPA tutorial several times that I really understood the complexities of the rule set. Even then, I had to tweak the settings in order to complete the grid with some regularity.
So I call BS on the those that whine about the rules being shallow. Perhaps these people are among the few pinball prodigies that are so good that they can become so bored with KISS rules after a few plays. But for the average pinballer, the rules are reasonably deep.

Agree.

The tax code is deep too but that doesn't make it fun.

#2537 2 years ago
Quoted from fattdirk:

No - Kiss code is pretty solid. It could use some polish but I think it's a fun game and earning decently. I wouldn't call it half baked. I don't think a code improvement would sell that many more since it's just not a popular theme.

There are new buyers lining up to fill your spot. Stern has demonstrated they just don't care. Quality is on the decline, price and sales on the incline.
Finally, It doesn't take 10 months to update the code. They're just not working on it because it's a dead title.

For most of us, it seems, better code sells more pins. Regardless of theme.

But again, we'll have to simply agree to disagree on that.

#2557 2 years ago

Well I think we are coming close to 1year since the last update for Kiss. All we have heard is its coming stay tuned! I think it's fair to call out Stern and see when it may be coming.
Stern or should I say Gomez really put his foot in his mouth saying BM66 would be updated every 2 weeks. I think people took it as a promise and think he meant it more as a goal but they are getting updates.
#WHERE's THE KISS CODE 2017!!!
If we quit asking it might never happen

You cant ask anymore. Emails/messages go unanswered and asking it on FB gets you banned. I'm not 'hopeful' that BM66 has code release issues but if they do, I gotta believe this will be a bad thing for stern. Ask people to ante up $10K+ for a pin and then not deliver code...Yikes...

#2651 2 years ago
Quoted from konjurer:

People still ask for KISS code on Facebook without getting banned...you just can't be a dick about it. I suggest people keep the pressure on. When there is a code update or announcement about another product then make a post saying "Heh, that's awesome Stern. Looking forward to the KISS code update as well! When is it coming?"
I would also quit being a dick to Lonnie on here as well. I'm sure he and the other coders read pinside. I wouldn't want to finish the code when reading the little digs and insults that are hurled at the Stern coders not named Lyman, who probably have little influence on the coding priorities.

I should have said that comments on Facebook are either ignored or deleted now. I agree, it doesn't seem people are being banned anymore for just posing a polite question.

Quoted from Audioenslaved:

So what's actually wrong with the code? I played it last week at Pincade and throughly enjoyed it... And before I thought it was a shit fit and didn't like it...

Its a fun and nice looking shooter with zizzle level code. There's nothing to it other than 'shoot here because points!'

There are no mini objectives, wizard mode is half baked, cities do nothing and there are a handful of bugs that need fixing.

-1
#2662 2 years ago
Quoted from konjurer:

I agree that the wizard modes could be better!!! I also want to see cities do something more. I especially want the bugs fixed.
But... it is hardly "shoot here because points."
* 4 mini objectives: Starchild Multiball, Demon Multiball, Catman (collecting bumper inserts), and Spaceman (collecting instruments)
* 1 major objective in the Bonus Grid matrix
* 8 modes that are distinctly different from one another
* 3 wizard modes
* 5 multiplier rules that stack (combo, song shot, song playfield, demon playfield, backstage)
* Huge scores on a single shot (up to 60x)
* Progressive pop bumper values (which I believe may be unique to KISS with the RGB LEDs???)
* Settings that provide significant variations to the rules that you can explore
Plenty for the intermediate player to do. Just needs some polish.

I'm an intermediate player and the pin bores the hell out of me. Its 'follow this arrow because points!'

IMO, distinctly different doesn't mean 'different arrows light up in a different order' in each mode...

Gomez has shown that he's not 100% in touch with the software side of the house.

Even if he's 50% in touch this is bad news.

Really glad I've held off on new sterns. Looks like I'm done. MMR and WOZ will be where my money goes over the next year. Sorry stern, you dun screwed me for the last time.

#2729 2 years ago
Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Not true. There is no proper alternative to Stern at this time\

Depends on the buyer we're talking about which is why I pulled all of the qualifiers you added and added my own...

For the home buyer, buying a NIB once maybe twice a year, there are plenty of options.

For the dude with a route hoping to sucker rubes into plunking quarters into a pin? You're correct.

But I'm not that dude.

Nobody is going to change a fanboys mind or the mind of a buyer scorned. So we should all move on.

#2746 2 years ago
Quoted from joemoney24:

I've been following this thread for awhile, and until today I've been thinking we "deserve" an update. However, after stepping back and really thinking about this, I realize I've never even reached all the wizard modes. Therefore, why do I need an update? The cities were probably never intended to more than the minor call-outs you hear when starting a new song. The game has 5 multi-balls, which I would be surprised if many have actually reached without adjusting the default settings. And plenty of adjustments are there to make the game easier to progress through, if desired. Honestly, what "huge" code update do some of you envision? Maybe fix a couple bugs but even those are few and far between.
This thread is loud for sure, and likely making Stern think about how the game was developed, marketed, and enhanced. So why hasn't Stern released a code update within the past year for KISS? Well, GG pretty much said it - they don't see it worth the expense yet, simple. Does that hurt some peoples feelings, sure, but don't let that get in the way of playing and enjoying a "good" game.
Keep on flippin'

Except its far from complete (feel free to peruse the kiss code suggestion thread) and they said there was going to be a big update.

#2796 2 years ago
Quoted from CrazyLevi:

So basically what the original owner paid for it brand new.
There was a time when people expected to lose $500-1000 for opening the box on a NIB game. Obviously KISS is holding its value and the "Kiss Kode Sucks Selloff" is just a figment of the pinmagination.

Knowing a HUO kiss is likely to have rarely been played and has had any NIB issues dialed in helps...The promise of a 'major code update' also plays a role I think.

You seem to take all of this very personally...

Whats gives?

Well, I am a buyer of Stern games - recently KISS and ASLE.
But, if they abandon KISS without any update at all, I won't buy anymore Stern games.
More on principle than anything else.
Yeah, I am but a tiny cog in the wheel but in a niche market, companies should be trying to ensure customer loyalty.
And yes KISS is a good game now BUT Stern did promise/hint an update was coming. That is the issue.

There are lots of 'cogs' that feel the way you do too. I havent bought a stern pin since KISS. I'm fed up and 100% done with Stern unless they change their coding/release process.

BTW, thats doubtful. You have people lapping up $15K pins, getting burned on code and then lapping up SW LE's. Its our own fault.

#3231 2 years ago
Quoted from Pickle:

Stern is the master at marketing

I would disagree with this statement. Though I do agree they are able to whip the pinball community into a frenzy.

Marketing, ultimately, needs to put a halo around a brand and do everything possible to ensure the public and its buyers have a positive perception of the brand.

This is not true right now but to be fair, thats not really marketings fault.

Stern Pinball We promised a "huge" update?
Improvements continue...
Stern saying improvements continue. So, another update to come????

At some point in my life I would have seen stern fixing beta level bugs two years after a release disappointing. Now, sadly, its normal. And another reason why if I ever buy a stern again (doubtful) it will be used.

Can anyone source the 'huge' update quote and post it on FB?

Having waited this long, I don't mind as they are working on it now, so make it a biggie please guys

Well, if they delayed the release (from early summer to potentially half a year later) becasue the update is 'a biggie' then fine. I mean, ridiculous but fine...

But if the update is just a tweak then this thing will be leaving the arcade (replaced by a non stern) faster than a newly waxed PF.

Hmm. Hard to be objective here because I grew up loving Kiss.
But these days I love pinball more - and this machine is already bordering on greatness.
It shoots so well, looks gorgeous and is challenging and great fun already. Could it use a little more depth? Hell, yeah!
And i’m guessing that’s coming very shortly..
Either way, she’s still not for sale

I just dont find it to be very fun. It plays smooth and there is some good stuff but it is just bland IMO. I dont need layers and layers of depth but I do like little stuff to do here and there which I dont find much of in this pin...Yet.
