    I have a very hard time finding the molex connector plugs. I am talking the wire to wire type. Where do you typically get these from?

    I try to support the people in the hobby first, so Great Plains is always my go-to, but if they don't have what I need, I often go to either Mouser or Digikey. Both have massive resources, and if they don't have exactly what you need, you can be sure they have something that's extremely "close enough."

    Hmmm, perhaps I am searching the wrong thing on mouser. Now that I know GPE has them will just order from there, nice and organized.

    When I go to the shopping cart on the great plains website, it says the site is temporarily closed.

    What part numbers are you looking for?

    I'm looking for a 3 pin molex connector and trifurcon pin for my sttng so I can do the tieback fix. It's my first time doing a connector so I'm not sure what to order or where to order from.

    This is a pic of the tieback...

    if you want to use a pinball vendor, Big Daddy should have what you need.

    http://www.bigdaddy-enterprises.com/

    Connectors = 0.156"

    HEADER-156L - 24 Pin (male pins)

    CONN-156BT (female trifurcon crimp)

    They also have new housings in that same section

    Big Daddy also sells a crimper (I don't like that one, but it works good enough)
    http://bigdaddy-enterprises.com/equipment/molcrimper.htm

    This is the inexpensive crimper I like
