I recently acquired a well worn Williams Whirlwind pinball machine and purchased a plastic set to refresh the playfield. After replacing the parts on my machine, I still have a couple of extra parts that I can't determine (from internet pictures) where they were supposed to go. The parts are two clouds - the set came with four and two are installed on my machine. The remaining two (pictured) don't seem to have a home.

As a bonus question, the instruction manual lists two red translucent mini posts in the parts list (03-8044-9). My machine has the two clear ones listed in the manual, but no red mini posts to be found. Any idea where these were used?

Probably don't go anywhere. They sometimes made little plastic pieces like that in their plastic sets originally to use for potential ball hang-ups. I know Banzai Run had a bunch of little shrubs and Addams has bugs. They ended up using some to install in areas where balls would get stuck and there were some that never got used but were still part of the original plastics set.

I can see some cool places to put them though.

Best bet is to review the pics at ipdb.org.
Many thanks to all of the ipdb contributors!
