Just got some Ball Baron balls in the mail. They are indeed extraordinarily shiny and cheaper than Marco's. I'll keep buying these as long as they hold up ok.

    Quoted from J85M:

Maybe its just for us Pinheads outside the US, but I find Marco pretty expensive on most things compared to say PinballLife.

It's not, they're more expensive for most things here in the US too but they, BY FAR have the best selection of parts and their service/speed of handling orders is as good or better (in some cases light years better) than any of the other suppliers. They'll also ship me one part for a few $s if I have to fix someone elses game for them and don't need, or have time to place a big order—but that's probably not a plus for you in the UK.

    Quoted from Sparky:

    Very disappointed.
It appeared I had missed the boat with posts saying the ball baron was sold out. When I went to his website, I found "High Polish Mirror Chrome Steel OEM Pinballs," so I thought he must still have some left. I ordered 25.
Based on the ooooo's and aaaaah's from everyone, maybe I didn't get the same thing? (They were about $1 each).

    Unfortunately not the same thing.

What you must have bought are the G100-G200 balls.

What you were hoping to get were G10 balls, which sold out when Pinside foamed up and did a run on them.

Recently bought 50 Titan balls for $10 more than 25 Ball Baron Ninja balls. IMO the latter may be a little bit nicer (I loved the ones I got from before Pinside did a run on them) but not at nearly double the price.

    #332 6 years ago
    Quoted from mrgregb123:

Titan's shiny balls are $1.50 vs. $1.95 for Ball Baron's Ninja.
Titan's regular chrome is $0.92 vs. $0.95 for Ball Baron's standard.
What's the nearly double the price?

Titan's are $1.20 for >49 and Ball Baron is $1.85 for >25. Total with shipping for 50 was $67.99. Ball Baron would have been $55 for 26 or $99.20 for the same 50, shipping included.

    Quoted from PinRob:

Where are you seeing $1.20 for >49 for shiny balls at Titan? I know Titan10 promo code gets 10% off.

Well, they were $1.20 a couple weeks ago... looks like they removed the price break after I ordered.
