    Quoted from eggbert52:

Don't worry...Obama will come in and save the day. I heard he has a new program in the works for upside down pinball buyers.

Hey egghead, see the new job numbers? You Obama haters have nothing when it comes to employment. Numbers are identical to when he took office, and he inherited a shit storm. Jobs were hemorraging under Bush...and yes, they continued to for months. Obamas fault? Really? But what do we have here?

Oh, and guess what? Jobs in th private sector have grown - on average - .9% a year in Obamas 4 years. The Bush average for 8 years? .8%. That's right, more private sector growth under Obama.

Oh, and the stock market is up about 4000 points under Obama...and everyone is now covered by healthcare... And he nailed Osama Bin Ladens ass and ended the war in Iraq.

I'm supporting my President....because he's rescued the country and he basically did it without the help of congress. So how do you like that haters?

    Socialist my ass. Bitches!

ps: when I read any bs political post I will respond. And you better have your facts straight, or i will gut you in a debate.

    Quoted from pinballsmith:

I think I might just take the financial loss and be done with pinball period. Ever since the RGP incidents, I feel as though I can't trust anyone in this hobby anymore. Now that I'm getting ripped off again with pinball, I think it's best to leave this hobby and find something more welcoming. Three years trying to build a collection and I've lost everything including the support from my family and other collectors.

I hear ya. Sorry or hijacking your post with my political rant, but I'm in a bad effing mood okay as I just got f@&$ed in a deal by someone that holds himself up as a respectable guy. Another guy got screwed too, and it was just flat out mendacity and double dealing. I can argue an opinion with someone and break bread with people I don't agree with politically so long as they are true. But I can not abide by a freaking liar. In pissed off.

    Quoted from PW79:

    Great, more politics.
Just keep in mind no one has it all figured out, some people just read or heard different lies than the other person.

There are lots of lies. But there are facts and statistics too. And you live by them and die by them. And so do the liars. All politics, rhetoric is easily proven as more or less true or not...but very few people attempt to learn the truth. They care more about the nfl refs and college football than the lies. I'd be happy to let those people get exactly what they deserve if they weren't dragging me - and everyone else down with them.

Especially people that think they're rich capitalists when they're basically lower middle class or worse and can't even hear the music their dancing to....on strings.

Mine was merely a smart ass quip...not a psycho rant.

You take the word smart out of that sentence and you got something!

    Quoted from eggbert52:

Dude let the guy sell his machine. If you really deciphered out of my little joke that I couldn't be the kind of person that you could "break bread with" then you have more issues than my dumb little joke.
    You and Alex Levy roommates?

Actually just the opposite. You and I may disagree politically (maybe we don't, but I'm guessing we do) but I'd be happy to play pins and break bread with you. So long as you're not a bullshit artist trying to con me every minute of the day. Re-read my post.

Btw, I've already pm'ed the op about his PoTC.

And whose Alex Levy and what does he have to do with this?

Stay in the hobby if you like playing pinball. Get out if you are looking for second family or mommy figure.

I apologize for the political post. It's inappropriate for this forum.

It's election time, there's a lot of rhetoric going on and it seems there's more than a little casual Obama bashing on Pinside. And your right, politics don't belong here. I don't start the political discussions but I figured maybe I could finish them by making a point to respond to the more flippant and non-sequitur postings. Especially the ones that seem preposterous or ill informed.

It's a losing battle anyway, so perhaps I can learn to hold my tongue.

    I forgive you.
After that debate performance I'd be frustrated and upset too.

    Tru effing that.
