    Quoted from Localspeedshop:

Yeah I know ... but everyone always complains on PayPal and it’s hard buying from Canada and shipping up here to Michigan ..
I can’t do much really .. got a few phone numbers and will send someone there to ring a door bell or more that’s about all I can do .
In the meantime will just make sure they have some feedback or pay with secured and absorb the fees ...
I have always trusted PayPal but so many don’t likely cause they scammed in the other side ..
Cheers to all the honest people and shame on the rest ... wont be able to get the Munsters for a little bit longer now

OP - Just some info for future use..... most people ask for PayPal to be Friends and Family so they don't have to absorb the fee. Something I do is ... I tell them I understand their point but I will offer to pay the fee for them. I believe the PayPal fee is something like .034% so it would've costed you like 210$ (speaking USD here) more but you have the security knowing that if things go array you have the protection.

Again, like others have stated here, reach out to PayPal and ask them to open a dispute even though you paid with the F&F option!

    Quoted from DeathHimself:

So you were a victim of identity theft, they hacked your account and sent funds to their accounts . Yep that sounds like something the police should handle, along with Paypal once you have a copy of the police report in hand to send them.
Pinball isn't the only game you can play......

file a false police report is your advice?
