I ordered a Premium on March 29th... the distributor told me Premiums were supposed to start shipping early May. Wondering if this is remotely possible. Hoping at least to see photos in the near future.

Rumor last week was that the Premium pics will be available end of this week. Well....it's Thursday so c'mon Stern!

If this was the case (its not) then Stern would never reveal any Premium before all the LE's had shipped. The reality is that if your getting an LE you have already paid for it by now, so I am confident that is not why the premium hasn't been shown yet.
Do we know if they're going straight from producing LE's to the Premiums? Are are they doing Pro's in-between? I really hope they go right to Premiums as I would looooove to have my Premium by the end of the month for my 40th bday 
If Stern produces 50/day of the LE's then they would be done in two weeks, which would be about now, right? I'm also making a big assumption than they are ONLY producing IMDN LE's every day for their 50/day, they could be producing other machines at the same time who knows.
From a Stern facebook post:
“We will begin on the pro models shortly followed by the limited edition models and finally the premium models. This will consist of our first run after that we will continue to run premium and pro models based on market demand for some time.”
I am hoping that it does mean straight to Premiums, as I have one on order as well!

“I spoke with Stern a few days ago...they will begin production on the Premium's on the 20th...should ship to me by the end of the month.”
Also just heard on Stern’s current livestream that Premium photos are ‘probably’ next week. Seriously...

The 20th is a Sunday. Seems like a strange day to start production?
That was merely a copy/paste from the email I got, though I can’t disagree with your comment about strangeness of the date.
The thing that really sucks for me personally, is I have gotten so amped up with the anticipation for the Premium art that I am worried no matter what it is I will be a little let down.
I am buying one of the premiums being used at the SFGE. Got confirmation today that it would be there and be able to be picked up at the end of the show.

Totally agree. Sounds like there are a lot of haters (mostly LE folks) but I personally love the look.
I feel like a great weight/anxiety has been lifted. Whew! (And I can quit hitting refresh!)

Been holding out until I saw the Premium. I LIKE it, but, not sure I like it better than the Pro, or LE? Have to see one in person. Cannot believe how great all 3 look. They TOTALLY killed it on this one. One of my favorite bands to boot. Can't wait to get one>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

My west coast distributer said he hadn't heard when they're shipping yet. But Stern showed a picture of them on the factory line, so I can't imagine it will be longer than a few days? I ordered mine April 4th, not sure if that is on the early side or not, but I'm really hoping I have it by the first week of June.

At the moment I think I prefer the premium. Gold or black mirror blades are a must.
Can sometime do a photoshop to see what yellow or purple moulding looks like on the pro?

The premium should've had blue metallic powder coating. That would've looked much better. Blue and Gold FTW!
Patience has rewarded me for once, For someone who isn’t necessarily a fan of Iron Maiden the Egyptian theme is definitely my favorite. I agree it could be improved with some powder coating but I think it’s safe to pull the trigger now.
Pretty sad the LE has the worst art package. Sorry, but it’s true.
Premium looks really sweet, although I love my Pro’s art package almost as much.
So far my favorite artwork is on the pro I just love the trooper cabinet. At first sight I did not like the look of the premium but it's starting to grow on me.

I thought I was going to be able to get away with enjoying the pro and saving some $. I love the trooper art work on the pro, I feel it's more dynamic than the premium but unfortunately for me I really like the premium's Egyptian theme. In my perfect pinball world Stern would offer up all 3 art packages as interchangeable and you get to choose what your model is going to look like. I'll take the premium model with the premium's cabinet design but with the pro's translite.
Wow really easy decision here for me...
Pro all the way. I like the premium translite but WAY too much with the Egyptian theme as the color scheme is so brown and muted. It's overboard vs the pro which has so many more colors that work. I also love the side art and incorporation of the flag.
This pro could be the best offered by stern total package wise including art and not losing anything critical vs Prem or LE

The Premium sideart shines a whole new light onto the Stern cabinet splitting issue

Can't wait to get mine 
Love the sides of the back box. The translite Eddie figure and Sphinx are well done; but too many characters I don’t know. Side cabinet is good not great. Stick to the album cover universe. The pro has my personal favorite backglass and cabinet, this from an le owner. Exterior Art doesn’t matter that much to me. The shots, rules, play field art and sound are all 10’s for me.
