I don't think that would have a huge impact as most people on here are not big tourney players. I think a lot have come to find out, they don't need a game with super deep rules to be enjoyable. Personally, I enjoy deep rules for the long haul, but not a requirement by any means. EM's and early SS games did just fine without being that complex. The fast kick ass gameplay starts to grow on people over time, making it more desirable. BSD was that way. You couldn't give those games away for the longest time. Shallow yes, but a ball buster.
