Have any of you stopped and considered that Stern specifically DOESNT want you guys to be customers?
Consider:
1500 units sold for $6500 would make $9,750,000
2200 units sold for $4500 would make $9,900,000
But with the higher price point they spend less time/money on manufacturing and support because their are less units.
Besides that I would bet they have to spend a lot more time on the phone and listening to customers bitching if they price out the non-millionaires. Millionaires don't care what it takes to get fixed (its only money after all), meanwhile for those of us who $4000+ actually is a lot of money to, you better believe are going to be 100% satisfied with our purchase.
Thats why they are doing it folks. It would be bad business not to.
