    Quoted from dung:

Video modes last the better part of what 20 seconds? On a 5 -20 minute game that isn't exactly a large amount of time. Some are fun such as FT, BSD, and BR. Most are repetitive and completely not worth playing BF, Tommy.

Unless you are trying to use them for scoring or extra balls.
Good examples outweigh the bad ones.

Today was the last day of two weeks of pain

Sttng is easier to score more points but is it fun? Not after you learn the pattern. In a tournament i play it but at home i skip it. End of the day why do you play? Always for score then yeah. If its for fun then no.

I feel time has just started to bust for Stern.
way way over priced compared to JJP Pinball Machines.

Look at Dialed In form JJP - OMG what a beautiful machine compared to latest $terns SWLE

Wrong, Stern is the only company offering a 5K pin and some pretty good ones at that, Spooky thus far releases what lloks like school project pins for more money and a JJP SE is quite expensive, you might get more and and yeah to most people the Pre/LE's that Stern has released of late aren't worth it but they have that 5K option which is great, also to many people even though DI looks nice theres no interest, for me SWLE is just as beautiful a pin as DI even more so as I prefer the theme of SW thus the art package lighting toys looks way better. Stern still makes the best pins in my opinion, bubble isn't going to burst anytime soon.

Don't wait around for it but here is how you know it has happened. All the games that are currently selling for $2k - $3k will suddenly be $1K - $1500 again. That's when you know it will have happened. Shortly thereafter, Stern closes it's doors.

You can still find NIB LE's from their last two releases....

They don't even make all the LE's for a lot of titles so why does that even matter? Rolling Stones LE, the serial number coverage on those is under 100! 350? No-way-in-hell.

    #462 6 years ago

JJP and Heighway might cost as much as Premium Sterns, but man do they wipe the floor with Stern in both quality and build. Including proper thinking on servicability. Light years ahead

Why does it even matter? Because it means the hype train is slowing...if you can't understand that then good luck.

? Ok, now I understand. This is not a new thing. It has always been this way, ALWAYS.

Are Sterns NIB only 5k in Canada?

When do you think the inevitable Stern bubble will burst?

    There's a Stern bubble?!

    #467 6 years ago

I hear tomorrow is the day...

    Quoted from Kiwipinhead:

When the dollar is at par they are. Back in 2013 I paid $5000 CDN taxes included for my ST pro.

A year later I paid $6000 for IMVE.
    Metallica pro LED was $7000
Ghostbusters I paid $7200 when it first came out.

Currently they are $7500 CDN before tax.

But the CDN dollar is getting better. So it should drop according to $ exchange rates.
