Quoted from EmptyLogic:Why can't they just do this already .. Has AC dc to boot
I've been saying for a while now they should jump on the "militainment" bandwagon, and release a proper Call of Duty licensed pinball machine. I can almost guarantee that if Stern places one of those things at a Call of Duty convention (yes...they have one done yearly now), pinball gets a new light shined unto it by a new user base. The theme lends itself for a lot of creativity, and imagine the kind of stuff they plan to do in a multiplayer environment.
The Call of Duty franchise since the second game, has turned into a very competitive multiplayer title. Maybe for the pinball game it can reflect that by allowing people to compete in online leaderboards? Doubles mode ("team deathmatch") for four player games? Save your perk loadouts (affecting scoring), holding your lifetime game stats via USB stick or numeric keypad entry? Maybe do score attack in local multiplayer games?
I think a fan of the Call of Duty franchise....one that works at Stern right now...hint hint....Steve Ritchie himself...would love to do one. Will it happen? Who knows.
Will the next Stern be Avengers? Who knows. There is a good chance Stern will release a new title before 2012 wraps. Didn't Transformers LE & Pro launch right before Xmas last year?
