The best pins come from a designer who is so invested in the theme that he is able to bring the entire package to life. That's tough to do if you are not enthusiastic about the title. That being said, even JPop says his current batch of pins are those he thinks his buyers want rather than his own dream themes, so you can imagine a minority of games Stern designers create are not their dream themes either.
