Remember Baron Von Raschke from the old AWA days? He's been a volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo in his retirement years. When I was in high school, almost every day he'd come to the Dairy Queen that was at the zoo and I'd make him a Peanut Buster Parfait for his afternoon snack. Super nice guy and he'd always do his claw hand for us.

Oh and as a self described KISS-tard, I'd shell out $5000+ for a new Stern machine in a heartbeat. I really can't think of any other license I can say that about. Maybe Jaws?

I really hope this is true. I'd love to have a modern KISS right next to my classic.

It's interesting how the theme of a game turns some people off so much.

There sure is a lot of KISS bashing on this thread. The original 1978 KISS machine is the only reason I'm a pinball collector, and in love with the hobby. Ever since I saw a KISS machine at a bowling alley when I was about 5 years old, I dreamed of owning my own. I thought it was the coolest looking thing ever -it's truly one of my earliest memories.

I could argue that the playfield art on KISS is some of the greatest in pinball history. Before I get lit up for this statement, take a moment to Google it, and judge for yourself.

Metallica is my favorite band of all time, so I knew I had to own that pin NIB (and it's now my prized possession). I doubt there is another theme that would ever move me to buy new again -except KISS. If Stern puts out a good looking and fun to play KISS, I will for sure be purchasing a NIB one.
