    I think JJP should already be considered a pinball producer because of the response. 1,000 pre-orders already? (or close to it.)

    Although I voted once the first game ships, because once you really get down to facts, you aren't producing pinball until you are getting the games out to the customers. I don't think building just a prototype makes you a producer, just a designer at that point.
