    Quoted from Pinchild:

Told Jersey Jack Team around 3 years ago "Hey
do a Willy Wonka old school theme."
    We'll look what happened.

Could you tell them we need a new Punchy The Clown please.

Well...I at least ask for it to #8 game...but no reply yet

The level of fun you add to pinball is amazing. Thank you !

    Quoted from Patrunkenphat7:

How certain are we that they’re making Toy Story?

Since Willy Wonka came out of nowhere.

No idea what or if anything, is certain.

    Quoted from JY64:

If you see nothing at Texas you best worry

    Worry about what ?

Last year at Texas we saw YBR, and weeks later at MGC Willy Wonka.

And with others shows coming up, or flat out announcements. 2020 in looking pretty good.

    LTG : )

    #102 4 years ago
    Quoted from JY64:

Jack has always been known to reveal at shows first expo than Texas so if there were no reveal I would worry why is there no reveal

Add MGC to the list for reveals.

Only reason why, would be next game isn't ready to go yet.

As soon as the next game is ready, we'll start seeing or hearing about it.

when is the Texas pinball show?

    https://texaspinball.com/tpf/ March 27, 28, 29/2020

    Quoted from Sako-TRG:

If word round the campfire is......this will be the GnR unveiling,

Nothing is certain until Jersey Jack Pinball announces it. Things can and do change.

No game will be packed like POTC again. JJP has made the decision to cut in order to help the margins.

    Really ?

    Jack told you this ?

    Quoted from romulusx:

One thing I’ve seen with JJP since the one big leak years ago was the can keep a secret!

Got that right. Game expected for TPF - they unveiled WOZ YBR instead. Game expected for MGC - they unveiled Willy Wonka instead.

Until they show it, anything else is merely speculation.

My speculation is with hot titles like Rick and Morty, and Stranger Things. It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit to see JJP make a big splash with their next game.

    Time will tell.

    Quoted from KingBW:

He kind of gave an evil laugh with a smile and said that he was really excited

No idea what Eric is working on, or when we'll see it.

The guys in Chicago have been super pumped about it since MGC last year.

So I'm excited to see it when it comes out. I don't think Eric is a one trick pony. I believe he is capable of great games. Going to be an exciting future for him and us.

    LTG : )

    #242 4 years ago

Why ? It's true. I'm not in Chicago and can look over his shoulder.

I know what the rumors are. But in the past things can change drastically and something else pops up. We saw that twice early last year.

Only NJ JJP knows what the plans are. And I have no idea what they are until announced or unveiled.

Remember. I'm tech support. I'm the last to know.

    LTG : )

    #245 4 years ago
    Quoted from romulusx:

It’s because of JJP employees like Lloyd will never know what’s after Toy Story and GnR

More than that. I don't know where those are in the mix. If at all.

Last year everybody expected Toy Story at TPF - JJP showed WOZ Yellow Brick Road. Everybody expected Toy Story at MGC - JJP showed Willy Wonka : Where did that come from.

Things can change, like when they skipped a couple titles because they got the Hobbit license. So only JJP NJ knows what is going on and what will be next.

I read all the rumors here on Pinside like everyone else. But nothing is for certain until JJP announces it or shows it.

    LTG : )

    #250 4 years ago
    Quoted from KingBW:

Jersey Jen DID say in her email that there will be surprises this year ... ya can never be certain with pinball speculation.

I'll bet you can be certain with Jen.

Slash is RICH estimated net worth of $90 million dollars. He can fly wherever he wants when he wants.

Then why did they auction off his spanking chair ?

    LTG : )

    #261 4 years ago
    Quoted from Adipocere:

I think in that case it depended on who was spanking whom in the chair towards the end.

Well. Could be a cute end. Could be a hairy end.

    We'll never know.

    Quoted from wolfemaaan:

Eric from JJP will be at TPF

Eric is there every year JJP is there. Great representative of the company. And now you can talk Pirates with him, besides the light system JJP uses in their games. He designed it. Besides being an excellent game designer. He's also an electrical engineer.

Has no bearing on what he is all working on, or when it may go into production.

His brother Chris will be there to representing Kingpin Games. He doesn't design them ( yet ? ) but he is a great distributor. JJP, PPS/CGC, AP, Spooky, etc.

    Quoted from Galooch:

o we know if Wonka is still on the line?

The line moving to Chicago, with hardly any people left in New Jersey ?

I doubt anything is on the line.

    LTG : )

    #450 4 years ago
    Quoted from Galooch:

Lol. For some reason I thought WOZ was a widebody.

It is a wide body. When not on the main line, it would be on the small line.

Sooooo... when are they announcing their next game?

Recent podcast hinted at when it's ready to ship.

He goes into detail about the move to Chicago, and plans for the future.

So with the move, and virus, I would imagine it will be awhile to get rolling again.

Could really use a moral boost and something to look forward to.

    #595 3 years ago
    Quoted from AFM95:

Don't tell us. Call up Jack and report back when he tells you what it is.

I never ask. And I'm usually the last to find out. That way if it leaks, it wasn't me. I didn't know.

I found out about Willy Wonka here on Pinside before the MGC reveal last year.

    Quoted from STxPinball:

If JJP does a new pin with an old theme, GnR, Toy Story, etc. then they should consider one that would almost guarantee a huge following. I would consider adding a 'Good Fellows' themed pinball to my den.

Good Fellows would be a brand new theme, though. No movie or book yet.

    LTG : )

    #632 3 years ago
    Quoted from mzhulk:

They come out with 1 pin every 2 years.

I believe since late last year, they have been moving to up production to two titles a year. The move to Chicago was part of it.

The virus shut down couldn't be foreseen. In spite of it. They seem to be rolling now.

No idea on time frame. I'm sure they'll be fine.

    LTG : )

    #641 3 years ago
    Quoted from JY64:

They have been talking about making two titles a year since TH was in production

No idea if the next game is Pat's or Eric's. Just hope it's good.

If and when Steve's game is released, I'm hoping it's his masterpiece. Out of his many great games. The one he's remembered most for.

That would be devastating to those who paid 20+ for the ones they own now

    Quoted from Crumbalimb:

but can't think of why they would want to do a false teaser.

I still wonder about the three surprises at Expo. ( Guesses on #3 welcome )

#1 - a new pinball machine, rumors abound yet hint to Crocodile Rock.

    #2 - jjp Insider Connected ?

#3 - Butch and Lloyd returning to jjp with new owner.

    #1000 6 months ago
    Quoted from CLEllison:

Maybe Lloyd could comment on it, but I've never seen the guy bash a title which makes him awesome.

I don't see jjp remaking it. New place isn't set up for wide bodies, and was their most difficult game to manufacture. Tech support was up a bit, maybe because of some manufacturing issues like too tight a harness under the black pearl. No where near the WOZ light board tech issues, or USB updates when ever a new up date came out. People often messed that up. WiFi updating really helped with that.

Now I did bash the Big Lebowski when it was coming out in one of my seminars at Expo. Someone asked what I thought of it and I said I thought it sucked.

I wasn't referring to title or game play. I was referring to when they had two games at Expo and two games at TPF, the first time. Both games were dead in the water after a half hour for the duration of the show.

My comment was that I thought a game that cost $10K ( at that time ) and didn't last a half hour, sucked. Heaven help anyone that bought one then.

Any thoughts on JJP making The Matrix?

Only thing I'm hoping for is a PTCR and a Stern Pinball Alley sign.

As far as the Matrix. jjp could ( if they don't take shortcuts ) knock it out of the park. They'd be the best company to do it justice.

And as always, I wish everyone at some point could get their favorite idea produced.

    Eric's Top Gun.

Standard width. Wide open. Faster than greased lightening. Flippers so strong they'll dent the back wall of the playfield. Get ready for the ride of your life.

    LTG : )
Disclaimer. I have no idea. Just thought it would be cool.
