I'd say Black Knight Sword of Rage, Stern Playboy, and music pins like Metallica.

Toy Story first. The rumor making the most sense after that is Steve Ritchie joining JJP to design Avatar. Avatar had been a rumored JJP license for three years and appeared stalled before it even started. I’d like to believe the pieces fell in place around the time Steve Ritchie said he’d come to JJP to do it. Pure speculation about the order of events but it is a fitting match. Should take about 18 months so look for the game around June 2023.
The key to ensuring SRitchie designs a blockbuster game comes down to what kind of mechanical engineering support he gets. If he uses JJP talent, he will do fine. If he chooses other industry vets, that should be fine too. Will one result in a great game? Hopefully.

Playboy. And lethal weapon. And Sopranos. Maybe Deadpool? Thats about all I can think of right now. I still think we need a game based off a 40 year old fat white dude living in his parents basement with modes like “what did mom pack me for lunch today?” and “Im 40 and still live with my parents” and “I go to therapy because Im depressed about my life”. I honestly get such a laugh when people shit on things others like, then justify to the ends of the earth something childish that they like. The hypocrisy is so thick, its worthy of a “your mommas so fat” joke all its own. Everyone on her is a man/womanchild. Bring on Toy Story and My Little Pony for all I care. If I dont want them, I wont buy them. I also wont bitch about them either. Unless they arent fun or the playfield turns to shit as soon as you play a couple games.
P.s. I am eagerly awaiting the TS announcement as I am a big fan. Hope its good
The rumor I’d like to start is that after the successful GNR design by Eric and Slash, the design duo parlays that into a Black Sabbath pin. Complete with 300 hours of concert footage, 30 studio tracks and 30 modes with incoherent Ozzy callouts. I am trusting JJP with my grail title and know it will be perfect

and if Disney delays Avatar 2 again?
Pat's game is first early 2022, then Eric's next game in the fall or late 2022 (is the goal), then Steve's game if ready after that. I was told this by a JJP employee that is the plan that could change because of supply chain issues and COVID rule restrictions that may effect production. There's obviously other variables also.
They have 2 production lines now that are setup to be able to produce 2 different games. I saw their production layout a few months ago. It's a nice setup.
Quoted from KingBW:Pat's game is first early 2022
How early is "early"? January is early.
I don't believe Godfather what so ever. Think about all the JJP games how does a movie about VIOLENT CRIME fit into what JJP has done. JJP has traditionally gone outside the box and done themes no one ever considered like OZ and Wonka now Toy Story. Godfather doesn't fit in with the pattern of games JJP has made! I don't believe its a license they would go out and get, rather themes that fit in line with the other games made previous. Toy Story fits right in with Wonka and OZ.
I think Toy Story is coming to TPF in March. I also believe the game following that one will be Eric as i've heard its already done so how can Steve's game jump an already finished game? Hello that makes no sense.
Look at the pattern here... Dialed In (Pat) to Pirates (eric) to Wonka (Pat) to Guns (Eric) to Toy Story (Pat). Does anyone see a pattern here? So if the rumors are true and Pat is retiring it will go to Eric after Pat and Steve will then take Pat's place after Eric's next game.
I believe Eric's next game is Matrix but we'll see.
There is just NO WAY Eric's next game which is basically done, is getting line jumped by a guy who's been there for 3 months. C'mon already. These rumors get wilder by the minute. Personally we should just focus on the next game which is TOY STORY.
If this is Pat's last game lets hope its the best one ever! I think its fair to say PAT goes down as the GOAT.
No idea if the next game is Pat's or Eric's. Just hope it's good.
If and when Steve's game is released, I'm hoping it's his masterpiece. Out of his many great games. The one he's remembered most for.

A distributor that I talked to was guessing March/April time frame. The supply chain issues are real for JJP. I had asked Pat at MGC if his game was next, and his reply was that it would be whatever machine that they can get ALL of the parts for. They can't make machines with missing parts.
Quoted from parsonsaj:K says no JJP announcement at TPF?
Old news. They referenced this at expo in Oct. Came from Pat L. At best it will be expo 2022.
There in the same boat as stern. To many builds to catch up on.
Meanwhile next game gets fine tuned and supplied up.

JJP has a second line now, right? I don’t know how it is going or what the intent for using it is but, How do you think JJP will roll out Toy Story? Will GNR be pulled from the main line to start TS? Will 2nd line be used to run WOZ? What goes on the second line next? More GNR or maybe the next pin (Godfather)
Imagine how tired those folks have to be, of making GnR, at this point? I mean, sales are sales, but I bet the line folks can get that game put together in their sleep.

While they are singing November Rain
Quoted from tlsbryan:New game possibly going on the line in April. They are caught up on GNR.
So …. what about the 2nd line?
Quoted from Faust:I’ve heard from a friend that JJP will announce a new run of POTC at TPF, together with a final version of the software.
Maybe that will be the game for the second line?
That would be awesome!
They have 2 lines for normal cabinet only . No widebody at the moment and with the new game being a normal body and still making gnr also . Don’t count on it

Quoted from Frogman:License is gone and the BOM is too high.
Then why is it still listed in the JJP store (not their general site where they have all games that were ever made by them, but on their actual store site)?
WoZ, Hobbit and Dialed In are all gone but GnR, Wonka and Pirates are still there. Is that random?

Completely agree. The YBR Woz was announced at TPF right? Or at least that was the first time I saw one. Would be cool to see another POTC run.
The BoM is not too high if you can sell the machines for $16-18K each.
It will be a special edition run similar to the CE what I heard, so I guess it instantly sells out at a run of 200-500.
Also explains why so many potcs are for sale right now
It’ll be the extra collectible Jack’s Pirate Booty edition where BOM cost is negligible.
Bonus: They’ll replace Johnny’s mug with Jersey Jack’s in full pirate drag, eliminating the biggest visual problem with this game!
Quoted from Concretehardt:If they take Jonny Depp’s face off the game that alone will justify a price increase!
Amen.
I know many would like this but NO potc remake this year, the people that say they will announce it at the TPF are full of it , don't take my word just wait a few days....

So tell your friend not to buy you a lottery ticket…
The rumor that JJP is doing another run of pirates has been put to rest. TPF is over and no pirates remake was announced. Jack said in very recent interview, there is no sense for a company to run more of a past title when they can’t make all the current and upcoming titles they want to. I hoped this puts the hopeful but misguided rumor to bed for good.
With that behind us, what is a POTC LE worth? I’d value it between $20k - $30k, depending on mods. The market price is primarily a function of low production numbers. If I was considering one, I’d be willing to pay in that range and sleep good at night. Some don’t care for the game at all and others complain about this or that, blah, blah blah. It is a masterpiece but difficult to find one to play.

They asked him at the seminar directly and the quote was "one day I hope so, never say never".

.
So did Jack say this after making more of the past title Willy Wonka or after they ran an past title?

You sir, do not win a prize.
I was also way off on my guess.
But, Thank you for resolving this thread.
I would ad that it was 15k for a CE, a new record high for JJP.
Toy Story 4, and pinside lost thier minds.
Quoted from rwmech5:Yup moving on, what's next in line?
Matrix? And hopefully not just the latest one.
Quoted from Blu:Matrix? And hopefully not just the latest one.
Depends.
The wachowski brothers that did the first three and they are now gone.
The wachowski "sisters" made the 4th one. crazy stuff but brilliant film makers.
The 4th Matrix installment I personally really, really liked for its fresh and clever approach staying to the theme that was so popular but with a unique perspective - if you really knew the movie, I think you get it. I think it was targeted at the die-hard fan who really knew the movie and watched it dozens of times -- and since its nostalgically reminiscent and holds many themes and elements from the first movie, a Resurrections pin could "feel" enough like the the entire franchise to make all Matrix fans excited. Die-Hard or not.
Based on the MSRP and BOM for TS4, it might be safe to assume Disney was probably a financial burden and contributed significantly to price and left little negotiable & was calling the shots, no pun intended. Jack wont lose either way on TS4. Pinside is too small a market to cause that and the haters even smaller. So much money still out there. Hopefully someday when its all said and done, I would like to hear the real Toy Story story - the challenges, warts and successes of making that pin. I think it would be interesting, could be more interesting than the game itself. I budgeted $50 towards playing it on location just to have a more well rounded opinion. I think I get the game objectives pretty much with little effort since it seems so familar to GnR.
If licensing cost of a Matrix pin is reasonable, and they go for assets and innovation (again, my opinion like everything in this post) like Eric & Slash did with GnR and if the BOM properly reflects the price, then I think it could be great. Having the wachowski bros involved would be what could take it into the stratosphere... Do they like pinball?
Wachowski involvment (similar to Slash on GnR) could really add new perspectives and ideas thinking deep and thinking outside the box when it comes to design, and the JJP can try to mold it into a reality under glass. That would be awesome. Take your profits from TS4 and push them into The Matrix to blow up into a GnR jackpot again. Be rewarded with a killer title like they were with GnR. Follow THAT formula. Make The Matrix so good that I want to sell my GnR. I dare ya.
I’d love to see JJP do a horror pin or another music pin
Universal Monsters. The Shining.
Van Halen. Prince or ….I think an Abba pinball machine by JJP would be amazing.
Id be happy with Muppets too. I feel like that is super over due.
Id really hate a Matrix pinball machine. Other then the 1st film, the rest were very underwhelming for me when I saw them in theaters. The whole franchise feels very dated. Even though I don’t care for it, I honestly think Fast and Furious could make for a popular pinball machine.
Quoted from LTG:Agreed.
This time around they are making the moves to have a shot at it.

JJP was trying to have two games this year. Toy Story and Elton John.

So, Elton John is next game?
Think there will be a crocodile somewhere on it!

Elton John could be really great. Will it have have a croc, a yellow brick road, a rocket? I hope they do original artwork and not pictures.
