When to wax while installing cliffy protectors?

I bought some cliffy protectors for my black knight and pinbot. I need to wax the playfields. Do i wax before or after installing the cliffy's? Inquiring minds want to know...

Depends I think. For a press fit cliffy, like the drain hole or in MMR the drawbridge edge, wax underneath will keep it from staying on.
