How do you know when to change the media in your tumbler?

I use crushed walnut shells and typically change when it gets to a medium to dark brown color.

I am working on a Seawitch that has 40 years of ground in grim that doesn’t come off with any cleaner.

    Quoted from TheLaw:

A game or 2. Some are dirtier than other thoughs for sure though.
What cleaner/stuff are you using in the tumbler?

    Flitz tumbler media additive
