Good call on claiming. After 2 days of no communication, taking measures beyond "Hey any update here?" is more than applicable. Regardless of if it was $5 or $10k...that behavior is just unprofessional/disrespectful/*insert "not cool" synonym* when dealing online.
If there is a message in the future that starts with "So sorry, X emergency came up my bad sorry for the inconvenience..." and his/her profile doesn't show it as repeatable behavior...then obvs we're all human and that is a forgivable excuse.
