I see that Stern has been providing nice looking, full-color ruleset PDFs for awhile. For example, I've read the ones for Godzilla, Rush, and AIQ.

GZ: https://sternpinball.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Godzilla-Rulesheet.pdf
Rush: https://sternpinball.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Rush-Rulesheet.pdf
AIQ: https://sternpinball.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/AIQ-Rule-Sheet.pdf

Are these available for all of the games? I went to find one for Elvira and GotG for when I go on location, but can't find it -- so maybe this is a relatively new thing?

It seems to somewhat depend on the coders to provide the info and keep it up to date

It's not even keeping it up to date - I can't find one that even exists for those two games. But good point on tracking the rule changes - I hadn't considered that.

Started around iron maiden. I'm sure that was Keith's doing. And the team of course.

Hence, "provide the info", yeah.

The coder should always provide a detailed rulesheet, something I've been doing with my creations since day-one. For 2 reasons: Games are super complex these days and it's good to have an easy-to-understand guide to refer to (apron cards are a relic from decades ago, when rules were super simple).

Secondly, as a pinball coder you pour your heart and soul into every game, and you want everyone to experience everything you've worked really hard to create. In most cases, pinball rules will build as you progress and create more excitement and drama the deeper into the game you get. It's not just hitting stuff to score points anymore.

The rulesheet will show you that your hard work will pay off as some of the best stuff is deeper into the game.

It's up to the development team for each game. They do it if they want to but it's not a Stern policy. I think Raymond Davidson did the famous long one for Avengers that inspired the others.

Where are these at on the Stern website?

For games without rule sets provided by Stern, where exactly do we find the rule sets? For example, I have a Star Trek, that I'd like to print out the rule set for.
