    I had a coil go up in smoke on me the other day, luckily I was by the machine with the glass off (and no it was noting I was doing), however as I was standing there and smelt then noticed the smoke I powered off immediately.

    I tend to turn my machines on play them then wander off to do something else then come back later and play again.

    Having never had a coil go like this I now question, if I had not been to power off;

    Would this have been a fire hazard?

    Would it have caused more damage to the machine

    Is it safe to leave machines on? I figure it is as in arcades there on all day.

    Thanks in advance for any thoughts and advice on this matter.
