I'm having an issue with my Wheel of Fortune where the ramp optos register hits rapidly sometimes, with nothing crossing their path. I thought it was just the right ramp, I looked for help on the web and found an old thread where it was suggested to reflow the solder, tried that but it didn't fix it, checked in the test once it started happening and noticed that both right and center ramp where going.

I was listening to an old PAPA Tv Live episode recently where it was mentioned there was a major bug in Wheel of Fortune involving the ramp optos that could destroy scores for competition. I also remember there being a Wheel of Fortune on location near me a few years ago where the ramps were doing this exact same thing. Is this a common issue, and if so is this the bug that was mentioned? And is there any way to fix it?

Reflowed the solder on the opto board as Lloyd suggested, looking good so far, spent about an hour testing and haven't seen the issue come up again.
