Stern, 2007When I got this WOF the right flipper end of switch was broken and a wire was off the coil. No big deal. Got a new switch and installed and attached the wire. But when I turn the game on - immediately the flipper fires and the right flipper fuse blows in a flash of light. Any tips on why this is happening? Where to look for the issue? Thx!
Grizlyrig is prob right, grab your digital multimeter and check for continuity on that transistor.
Be careful with an issue like this because if a transistor fails and burns down your coil before the fuse can pop then potentially your machine / house could burn down.
Until the issue is resolved, i wouldn't leave the machine on and idling.
Just to be safe check the resistance on all the transistors on all your boards and look for that .4 to .6 range. Anything outside of that means a failed or failing transsistor.
