I only have room in my gameroom for 3 pins at a time, and they are very close together side by side which means I never get to see the side art in its true glory.

I currently have only 2 pins, (hopefully pick one up at the uk pin show next weekend) and I can currently enjoy the cabinet art on these games and this got me thinking about the art package on other pins past and present.

Party Zone cabinet art is excellent, very colourfull and cartoon like, shame mine was fairly faded.

The Shadow cabinet side art is simple but very attractive to look at, not that keen on the backbox sides though.

Whats your favourite or least favourite cabinet art package ???

I just love the glorious neon colours, and of course all the monsters depicted on the cabinet of Monster Bash.

I don't like the generic Bally Midway cabinets of the eighties.

BOP is perfect but so is Paragon

I'd have to say my fav. is 1948 United Blue Skies
United have a few other nice Nautical theme tables with rich side art
must of struck a chord with the art dept.

I think my favorite is Monster Bash. I love the Universal Monster theme, and the colors and design looks great IMO.

My least favorite would probably be Demolition Man, you know... with the naked little Sly Stallone character in the cryo chamber. There was all sorts of cool things in that movie, like a sweet red Olds 442, explosions and the like that they could've used, but nope.. we got the cryo chamber with naked Sly. I know the cryo chamber is a big part of the movie, but come on...

    Big Bang Bar & Safecracker.

Theatre of Magic and Scared Stiff. Both do a great job of transforming the cabinet into something more (well, in these cases a trunk or a crate) and both fit their themes perfectly.

Just had a flashback and remembered this, had a quick google for the pic, the cabinet I think was supposed to looked like a crate.... but just look at those legs, absolutely amazing.

I'm pretty sure this was in the gift shop shop, Indiana Jones ride, disney Ca. (2009)

If we were talking backglass art I'd go with Paragon, but for cabs MB looks pretty kick ass.

I'm pretty sure this was in the gift shop shop,

    Yep that is her bugray.
Would play her all the time..!
They never could tell me what happened to her...

As for me (Besides Adventureland IJ)...
BOP is tops! (Especially with the side LED mod! )
    Followed closely by-

Like there could be any other choices!!!

    Edit:

That is a clean lOOking Creech you've got there Loupie!!!

    #16 8 years ago

I believe Phantom of the Opera is the most artistic pinball. I have seen several web sites that says the consensus is it ranks in the very top for its art work. LOTR LE is mighty attractive also.

    #17 8 years ago

    Some of my choices....

Another vote for MB and CREECH

    #22 8 years ago

Dirty Harry has a badass painting of Clint aiming his hand cannon. One of my Faves.
And I can't believe that no one has mentioned Whitewater, Youssi killed it with the entire art package on this one.

There's just no escaping the GREEN of Cirqus Voltaire!

TOM is my favorite cabinet art. the pin itself is just OK to me though. Close seconds are BK2K and HSII. I like strong, graphical lines.

    #35 8 years ago

I always loved this one for some damn reason

Most of the A listers have great artwork. I also really like BoP and Corvette's.

    #38 8 years ago

I would say TOTAN it has a kind of mythical vibe to it. In my opinion it even looks pretty cool when faded a bit.

    #39 8 years ago

    AFM & LOTR for me.

    +1

TOTAN is a beautiful pin in every way, shape, and form. The cabinet art is especially awesome.

Very Custom.. That AFM is CoinTaker's.. He had it and a 2nd @ Allentown . he sold his 2nd , but NOT the 1 in the Pict... I'm Still Want-n 1 ....

I like BOP but love Centaur for cabinet art.

    #43 8 years ago

    I don't own one, but I think Tron's cabinet art/design is impressive.

    #44 8 years ago

I would say hook even though the game isn't the best. Really debating buying one for the small dmd and artwork alone.

I also like Batman Forever but the backglass is fugly.
