    Quoted from BillySastard:

Canadian Coca-Cola is even better. All Canadian pop tastes sweeter to me. I was told that their pop is made with Cuban cane sugar.

I think a lot of sweet things are better from canada...

A co worker once brought me in a bunch of candy etc he got from a friend who worked for Nestle in Canada. Definitely different in a good way!! Same candies without the HFCS crap etc!

    Quoted from PAPPYBALL:

Green River might be regional only to the Chicago area. One of those that's been around forever but not super well known. Every store around here carries tons it around St. Patrick's day.

There is an ice cream/custard shop that always has Green River Floats on the menu in the summer...always got to get at least once.

    Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
Also I stocked up on Ecto Cooler (not really a soda) and Crystal Pepsi while it was in stock (to collect...not so much to drink...kinda gross). I also have two Pepsi Perfect bottles!

Is that a case of ecto boxes?!! That's bad ass. My friend gave me a few boxes loose from what he bought, but didn't see the case.

Saved a couple coolers and a Crystal too. Lol

    Quoted from Frax:

That and Surge. Now, the only things I drink are Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper....preferrably a 50/50 mix with rum.

Still have couple suge 2 liter bottles (I drank them empty thoigh, sadly).

I had cut up a bunch of the boxes for decor because I thought the logo looked cool...think I still have the cut ups somewhere too. Lol

Anybody remember these Mr. Pibb cans that had all the flat sides?? I loved those! Wish I still had a can.

As a teen I drank pepsi over coke, but I've always cheered for the under, under dog...
    I.e.
    Rc
    Mr. Pibb
Lemon lime Slice (haven't had in years!)

    #110 7 years ago

Anybody have any "gotta have this soda with this food" feelings??

I'll throw a few odd ones out

Diet coke with a hunk of sharp chedder cheese.

    Mr Pibb and hard salami.

Dog and suds (glass bottle if you can find it) with a bbq and onion porkchop sandwich.

    Mt. Dew and snickers bar.

Sprite (in lieu of slice) and milk duds.

    Obvious coke (pepsi) and pizza.

Ok ok....go ahead and laugh at my list now! Other half laughs and says Im nuts whenever I try explaining it...

    Quoted from Onevox:

Funny you should ask. I originally had written this out but thought I was rambling...
REQUIREMENT: Mr. Pibb with popcorn, especially in the theater. Dr. Pepper if necessary.
    Jarritos Toronja with Mexican food
Dr. Browns Cream Soda with anything from a true, authentic delicatessen: pastrami or corned beef sandwiches
I like Pepsi alone, and Coke with Pizza
Mello Yello with Lance Cheese on Wheat crackers
also like Coke with Lance Toasty peanut butter crackers

Thank tou, I'm not crazy! Well....at least not alone

    Quoted from PinSinner:

    Ginger Beer for me.
I have two favourites, Bunderburg Ginger Beer is an Aussie favourite. And my local favourite is Buderim Ginger Beer. Both are delicious.

Interesting. I see it says non alcoholic. Does it taste like a strong real ginger, ginger ale?
Or is it more like a beer taste?

    Quoted from scooter:

    pepsi!
    We call sodas -cokes

I have family in Ky and Tn...

Im asked "what kind of coke would you like"...what kind do you have?...."sprite, root beer,"etc...

    Ok, I say...do you have a pepsi?

    "Pepsi?, no...we only have coke"

This yankee got so confused...no pepsi coke at their house I guess

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

I think we have a winner. Found this at my local liquor store. 7% alcohol. Tried the lime. Love that smell. Brings me back to 88 as a 10 year old hanging out at the pop shoppe and playing arcades all day.

Probably not actually too bad, but what ever happen to the (kinda nasty) 2 liter classic grape and grain?

    Quoted from girloveswaffles:

Even more "Fun" if the touch screen is off calibration, and you have to poke around and hope you get the selection you want.

Or my fave, the ones that go back to main menu a touch to quick or are adjusted too foamy...so you lose your selection you poked around to while waiting for it to fizz down a little to be able to top off.

    "...they call it mellow yellow...."

Edit: or was it they call him mellow yellow...or me mellow yellow

    Quoted from KrustyBurger:

Is A-Treat grapefruit soda similar to Squirt?

I was expecting it to be sponsored by Mr. T

After a job well done, they drive the van out to get some regreshing A-Treat!
