A couple of them that come to mind for me are Alien and Jurassic Park.

#2 5 years ago

Dark Knight, Jurassic Park, Dirty Harry, and Terminator 2

Terminator 2 and POTC

#8 5 years ago

Yes! Favorite TV show theme.

Terminator 2 and POTC

Oops, I read the title wrong, thought it was favorite game, not movie.

My favorite movie was Ghostbusters, followed by T2, Stargate, Indy and LW3.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Hook, Maverick, and Back to the Future. Not all great pins, but love the movies.

#14 5 years ago

LotR is easily one of my favorite movie series of all time, which just makes the pinball machine, which is already likely my #1 game, that much better for me!

#17 5 years ago

Indiana Jones but LOTR and Pirates of the Caribbean are not far behind.

#18 5 years ago

Indiana Jones and Star Wars are what I grew up watching. Still love those movies

#19 5 years ago

Alien!

There are some great movies on this list. Aliens. Robocop. T2. LOTR. Ghostbusters.

But if you are going to ask my opinion, I know what you're thinking. "Did he name six great movies or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is Pinside, the most powerful pinball forum in the world and would blow your pop bumper clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

I must say Terminator 2 is up there. Great movie...

#22 5 years ago

GOTG is my fave

#23 5 years ago

Star Wars? Too bad the games don't quite live up to the movies though.

I agree. I thought it was better than the original.

"It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"

#26 5 years ago

Williams IJ, Alien and Ghostbusters.

#27 5 years ago

Spiderman, taf, ij.

#28 5 years ago

Indiana Jones

T2

LOTR

#29 5 years ago

I echo all the love for IJ. Excellent trilogy (I don't acknowledge that crystal skull drek) and a pin that matches the brilliance of the film franchise. Hands down it's one of, if not the best theme integrations of all time.

I thought the same thing the first time I played MM. It has a Monty Python vibe for sure.

STTNG, we still throw on Generations from time to time.

You actually liked The Shadow movie? Allrighty then

#38 5 years ago

Wizard of Oz

#39 5 years ago

Big Lebowski.

#40 5 years ago

I didn't see it mentioned, but after I have watched Dirty Harry shoot up the street and give his speech for the 200th time, I'm gonna have to admit the next movie I like to fire up and watch the best is TRON LEGACY.

But let's face, these really are all great movies, each in their own right. Well, The Shadow, not so sure about that one... But yeah, all the others mentioned so far. You can't go wrong with any of these. I'd fire up and watch any of these at the drop of a hat (I've got them all).

I really enjoyed that movie. Great performances from all the actors, especially The Dude.

#43 5 years ago

I don't like movies.
Starship Troopers.

#44 5 years ago

My pick would have to be The Blues Brothers if they made that pin

#45 5 years ago

Does Total Recall count?

#47 5 years ago

Surprised nobody has said BTTF.

#48 5 years ago

Predator

Wizard of Oz

Surprised it took so long. I still watch it at least once a year and find myself singing If I Only Had A Brain at work when things get crazy

House of a Thousand Corpses, not my favorite film, but still a pretty well executed homage to 70s slasher films.
