I'm sure Williams was not happy that John Belushi was on the backglass either, but again, the bosses did not catch it.
Pinball artists were always trying to sneak funny stuff in.
The higher ups would always scour the art looking for stuff to make them remove.
Back in the 50/60's they would try to see how many cock&balls they could put in a design.
They would try to put their girlfriend's name into the shading.
They would try and put Hitler in the crowd...
