Really enjoyed reading peoples original ideas on another post for game themes. Thought this would be fun... how about the WORST original ideas for a theme (not one that already exists.

    Heres to get you started:

Movie Theme: My dinner with andre, On Golden pond

T.V. theme: Touched by an Angel, Facts of Life

Music: Kenny g (the theme music would be the worst..)

Historical women create bad pinball machines - Helen Keller, Anne Frank, Rosa Parks...

As well as medical procedures/conditions - colonoscopy, balding, too much ear wax...

    blankets...

    corrugated cardboard....

I mean these are some bad ideas. Yet, if Gomez or Ritchie get to work on it, who knows?

    #3 7 years ago

Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Dancing With The Stars, Say Yes To The Dress, Oprah.

    #4 7 years ago

While were are at it why not one about John and Kate plus 8 or one about the duggers. Could you imagine the multiball on those machines?

    #5 7 years ago

The 700 Club, Full House, Sex in the City, Spice Girls, Justin Bieber, it can't get any worse than that.

    Obama Pinball

    Richard Simons pinball machine

Imagine the look and sound of that bad boy....

That machine would have to have solid black backglass!

    Bob Barker's Spayed and Neutered

    Quoted from stangbat:

    Bob Barker's Spayed and Neutered

that would be hilarious! Bob Barker would have to be on the backglass holding up a dog by the hind legs in one hand and a big old scalpel in the other.

    The Third Reich
    Columbine
    9/11
    AIDS

    #13 7 years ago

Curling would be a bad sports theme. Sorry Canadians.

    OPRAH....ugh kill me now

    #15 7 years ago

Jersey Shore, I can't stand the show for a full minute.

    #16 7 years ago

Reading, mowing the lawn, shaving, wood carving, dieting, laser corrective vision surgery, painting, etc.

I think all of the above would make for rather crappy themes, but hey, there may be some wood carvers and painters out there that may think otherwise.

    Insurance convention! how exciting

A world war ii pin would be freakin' epic but it probably wouldn't do well in parts of asia & europe for some reason.

I hope they wouldn't take the "Sexy Helen Keller" angle that is so popular these days.

I was going to start this thread with a schindlers list themed pin but didn't know how well it would be recieved, well done.

Home Ec (wizard mode is baking a cake)
Watergate (find Deepthroat and battle Tricky Dick)
    The Lawrence Welk Show (Bubbles!)
Nickelback (the only gimmick is that the coin return doesn't work, but it does dispense earplugs if you get a high enough score)

    No Fist Pumping (bumping?) multi-ball?

    #26 7 years ago

    Hmm...
    Bull Dyke Lesbian theme?
Chick Dude with Mullet, the opposite of Dr Dude.

    #27 7 years ago

TV show: Two and a half men (gayest theme song ever.)

    #28 7 years ago
    Quoted from EvilJack:

"Mulit-Child" 19 balls and counting.... Get ready .... Flippppppppppppppppp!!!!!!! LOLOLOL

    #29 7 years ago

I tried to imagine how some of these could be made. I had a few laughs. The Obama pin could give you points if you do not reach the high score to help you out. You would never have to pay to pla a game.

    #30 7 years ago

They could have a special LE version with collapsing towers, bit like Earthshaker...

    #31 7 years ago

We've had Harley Davidson and Corvette, so how about Segway?

    #32 7 years ago

The Wizard of Oz....maybe it'll steal from SOF, "Cowardly LIONMAN, LIONMAN!" (ducks and waits for the rotten vegetables to be thrown)

    #33 7 years ago

    Veggie Tales
    Barney
    Dora the Explorer
    Thomas the Tank Engine
    Wonder Pets
    Little Einsteins
    The Wiggles
    Hanna Montana
    ...

So basically anything my kids watch. Spongebob would make a good pin though.

    #34 7 years ago

    Nancy Grace

    #35 7 years ago

    Teletubbies
    Nickelback
    C-Span

    #37 7 years ago
    Quoted from gweempose:

    The Third Reich

Hey, that could work... and the bonus would count down how many civilians you'd executed... Can't you see it now? No? Mmm, me neither.

Third world nations - sectarian violence multiball, modes corresponding to tropical diseases, famine, and poverty... maybe even a malaria multiball (oh! Maybe as a subwizard mode, for completing all the disease modes)...

    #38 7 years ago

How about Twister with a Katrina theme.

    #39 7 years ago

Casey Anthony pin, you could make it out of a TAF but you can never start a game because the ball is hidden in the swamp.

    #40 7 years ago

Any political theme, because no matter how it's done, it's guaranteed to piss off at least half the people who might play it.

    #41 7 years ago

As far as The Third Reich goes, how about a pinball version of The Producers? Your bonus could be how much you oversold the show to the investors.

    #42 7 years ago

    with a glory hole

    #43 7 years ago
    Quoted from Finrod:

    Any political theme

You could mock politics in general, and come out okay, I think. Just about everyone thinks the other side is corrupt, and that most politicians are at best ineffective, and at worst, malicious.

    #45 7 years ago

    Remember lets keep it clean

    #46 7 years ago

    Barbwire, or Driven movie theme.
I would like to see a Rambo (hey why not?) Theme Pin or Goonies if movie related.

Instead of a score, you could raise the national debt. Table goals would be socializing medicine passing stimulus packages, all for increased debt.
