I hunted for my FH for over 2 years, however my criteria was within 6 hour drive and priced decently. Contemplated a couple that were on the edge of my distance limit but I felt were really overpriced (about double what I expected to pay) Eventually a friend of a friend in the hobby who knew I was really looking for a FH came across one 2 hours from me and passed the contact info along before it ended up on craigslist. $1300 for a fully working, above average playfield, needing a new main ramp and a serious shop job. After about 3 weeks of work and some new ramps, looks and plays great! Sorry but unless a better example somehow ends up in my collection Rudy is not going anywhere, and I'm sure you will feel the same way when you do end up finding one.

So my advice would be to network with fellow pin hobbyists and be patient. There certainly are plenty of them out there, and Rudy somehow creeps out enough wives and kids that they do get forced out of collections...
